You will feel how this shoes can grip on any surfaces you do run with your confidence. What I love about is that you can run with your dog in the morning dew grasses without soaking...GTX works just great. Nice shoes!!

I have purchased three pair of Gel Cumulus GTX shoes. Models 17, 18 and now 21. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had and are excellent for hiking.

I love Asics Gel Cumulus shoes, they are the most comfortable shoes I have found. The GTX Gore-Tex models are great for hiking and hold up very well. I have three pair, models 17 & 18 & 21.

Should've bought these a long time ago! Usually go with the regular gel cumulus but the waterproof is what I needed. Have been in a lot of wet conditions and my feet are dry as a bone.

The toe box is a little more snug than my other Cumulus models for some reason. However it has the same great support and durability as always.

Best shoes i've ever owned. Bought them because they were waterproof and they won me over. I've bought other Gel-Cumulus 21's and for some reason they weren't the same.

Very comfortable. Ran a few miles easily right out of the box. Nice cushioning that maintains support. In this G-TX version, I did size up a half size from the size that I wear in the same style non-G-TX version. The sizing up happened after I bought the same size as usual but had to return them for being too small. I have heard that the G-TX lining can take up some space in running shoes which may vary with the shoe manufacturer and style, but which I've found to be true more often than not.

A little shorter than standard 21s, maybe a 1/4 size different. But still good and totally waterproof

Cool design, nice fit, stable, comfy, but just a bit firm on the soles. Overall a great product.

Great cold weather running shoe. Excellent grip while running on the city streets in the snow. Needs a bit more cushion in the heel.

They are amazing. Haven't had wet feet since I've gotten them. The only issue is I'm already having some of the sole peeling off.

feels good so far, haven't tried in bad weather or cold which the main reason I bought these. But they are the usual light, supportive, comfortable Asics shoe I've relied on, just a tougher model for the winter. I'd advise anyone to buy these 1/2 size bigger than usual.

sneakers sat perfectly on the foot, comfortable, hold the foot, did a running in the rain - did not get wet Pretty lightweight. ran both on asphalt and on rough terrain, preferably not asphalt. Overall happy with the purchase.

This particular shoe is a little stiff. I have only worn them a few times at this point. The comfort is the arch is good and I have yet to see if they are water proof, but I am sure the time will come. I would purchase this shoe again.

My big toe feels squished from the top and from the side. My prior GEL-CUMULUS 17 G-TX of the same size (12M) did not feel squished on that toe. I like to use my G-TX shoes for winter running so I prefer the thicker cloth of my prior GEL-CUMULUS 17 G-TX in the toe area.
The stable heel on the GEL-CUMULUS 21 G-TX is very nice.

The shoe looks better in person than on a screen, so it's great in that category. I like the fit and it's comfortable to walk in, with my under pronation. The Gore-Tex was pretty good when wet, but I didn't submerge it yet, however it is warmer than some other Gore-Tex shoes I have warn. I find myself needing thin socks for my foot to breathe. The worst thing about this shoe is that I am constantly super-gluing the rubber tread back to the bottom of the show, which began after one week of wearing it, so that part is defective I would say. This is after normal every-day wear, not heavy usage. I saw some reviews that claimed a smaller fit, so I went with the 12.5 to begin with as I usually wear a 12 in Asics. I returned it and ended up with my normal size, a 12.

Nice shoes, but!... notably tight as all goretex sneakers seem to be. This Cumulus 21 GTX is not just a gortex version of Cumulus21 - the actual sole as measured in identical Cumulus (non-GTX 10.5 size is truly narrower in the GTX version - not truly a cumulus21....it must be a borrowed and relabeled last from another model...disappointing that Asics is pulling this kind of switcheroo.
