Very comfy, true to size, would've liked choice of more girlish colours in larger sizes though please ASICS

Wow .... so impressed! Have suffered from shin pain frequently but since buying these I have been completely fine. Although they are supportive shoes they are not too heavy and clunky and are unbelievably comfortable too. A must for anyone who pronates. Although they were slightly above my budget, it was definitely worth it.

Always wonder whose idea it is to change something that isn't broken. ASICS did this with the Kayano a few years ago and they were terrible and went back to the original. These are definitely not terrible in fact they are good just not great lime the previous years. Harder for me to tell the difference because in immediately change out the footbeds with SofSoles (highly recommend). Sizing seem the same except wider at top of foot. Overall a good running shoe if I wasn't comparing it to what I know and love.

Always buy these runners, very comfy, great support when doing long/short distance HOWEVER I HAVE ONE COMPLAINT, the laces!!! Everyone I run the laces tighten more and more during my run!!?? The laces are the flat, skinny type. No matter how loose I let them before I start and do a double knot they still tighten more themselves !!! the reason I say this is because on longer distances I get pins and needles feeling in my toes and out towards the front of my foot!!

The colour is a midnight blue colour. My mistake thought it was black in pictures.

A great pair of supportive running trainers. Have loved the extra bounce in my stride and additional structure that helps with my over pronation.

I bought this shoe in the navy so that I could wear them on planes and have my running shoes with me on trips. Super comfortable walking shoes, good on the treadmill, I haven't tried them on the road yet but I do not think they are as cushioned or supportive as the 25 which I currently run 3 x a week in. The to box is much wider which makes it a nicer looking shoe for wearing out and about, doesn't look or feel like a running shoe to me at all ...i do find the length of the shoe to be perfect where as the 24 was too short and my toe rubbed and the 25 is too big, the 26 fits really well all around.

Very tight in the two fourth pair and this is the first time this has happened. Since I use them work I am on my feet all day were very uncomfortable.

Unfortunately I had to return these because the toe box seems larger than other Gel-Kayanos I have purchased in the past.

These are very narrow shoes. I generally wear a size 10 (I ordered a 10) and they were not only narrow but too small. The color is lighter in person when compared to the picture. The style is cute though.

very supportive but not bouncy at all. I was hoping i feel feel a mix of both (75/25?). With that being said, I am still keeping them for walking on trails or cross training.

Not as comfortable as the 25s. I wear this model consistently and the 26's seems to run smaller again. Wish the fit /sizing would remain consistent.

Good fit confortable, not the best for running short distance. Not much bounce

Didn't feel like other Asics. Not as much support as other Asics I've worn.

Forced myself to buy a new model after years of buying the same trusty Gt 2000-7s and sadly disappointed. Despite being a newer model, I feel there's a lot of flaws in the design. I run around 70-80km per week so need a durable shoe, but the kayano 26s have really low quality laces, and very harsh material lining, plus no cushioning at the front so my toe is constantly numb! The gel foam and cushioning is comfortable and my ankle is going NOWHERE, just don't expect the usual 'running on clouds' feel from other models. Maybe for a less frequent runner, they would be a good buy but as they are advertised as a shoe for avid runners for long distances, I'm really let down. I hope the 27s have made the appropriate upgrades.

I've worn Asics Gel Nimbus for years. I needed a soft, premium-cushioned shoe to walk on my treadmill without foot pain, so I decided to try the Gel Kayano. Unfortunately, the cushioning is pretty dense, and they are not soft enough for me, so I'm going to try to return them.

honestly it feels like you all skimped on quality with this version, they are lighter and dont feel as substantial as the 25, 24 or 23 versions i keep for knocking around. iam not sure these will last or perform as well as previous versions.

Love my gel kayano 25s but the 26 is a full size smaller than the 25s. I'll only be wearing these to grocery shop or garden, definitely not for my daily walks.

not as supportive---it seems as if every running shoe manufacturer has decided that shoes should ALL get softer and more flexible up front, leaving those of us who need that support without anything decent. Asics is no exception. These shoes are OK, but not nearly as good as much older incarnations. Won't buy again. No idea what I will buy.

Tight fitting, order a half size bigger for width.
