Last year I was absolutely miserable waiting for full double hip replacement surgery which was considered "elective" during the pandemic. I was going for physical therapy and the physical therapist recommended this shoe. It was a blessing and provided some much needed relief. At the time, I purchased 3 pair. My surgery is now 6 months behind me and I still love these shoes as I walk and bike ride! My question is that the 26 is becoming tougher to find, what is the difference between the Kayano 26 and Kayano 27. Thanks so much, these shoes were a major game changer for me.

So very comfy! First tennis shoe I ever loved at first sight! This shoe performs Outstandingly well! I wear a 7.5 so I went a half-size bigger. It fits perfect!

I am an active 73 year old female with problem feet. These shoes have support and comfort. I would recommend this shoe.

I love the Kayano line. I have two pair of the Kayano 26. Good support for my flat feet and very comfortable in all the right places.

great, stable yet comfortable sneaker. abit too pricey, but still a quality sneaker for someone who needs good comfort, stability and cushion all in one package.

These are supremely comfortable. This is my second Gel-Kayano 26. I confess I am not a runner, but rather I have delicate feet and super high arches. I wear orthotics along with the standard shoe insert; there is enough room. They are very good for standing and walking long days. The only bad thing, is when they're done they're done. They'll still look great and you won't want to retire them...until you put on the next new pair. I also tend to pronate, these don't encourage that unwanted motion with me.

I get the wide because I have bunions on my left foot and it's the perfect amount of toe box space without sacrificing a snug fit throughout the rest of the shoe.

As much as Asics have changed their comfort in footwear, this particular style running shoe is made with the old style compatibility. My Orthotics fit in them well and it is a comfortable fit all around.

I Love this shoe! This is my third pair of this same color, Piedmont, grey/silver! The color goes with everything and I always am asked where I purchased this pair. I usually wear an 8-1/2 but went up to a 9 in this pair and other ASICS I have bought and feels great. I walk 5 miles a day and ASICS is my walking partner and my favorite for foot stability and comfort.

They are amazing shoes! Great support around the heel! I run about 30 miles a week and have had foot issues in the past, but with these shoes my feet feel great!

I needed to get a half size bigger so my orthodicts could fit properly. Now they are the best sneakers I've ever bought.

Best running shoe ever. With each stride I feel the comfort. Has improved distance and reduce the overall pain I have after I run.

Following foot surgery I needed a really supported yet cushioned shoe. My PT recommended this shoe and it has been amazing. I ordered a second pair!

I have worn Asics Gel Kayano for over 15 years. They still have a wide toe box and narrow heels work well for my feet for running and walking. I usually get between 500-1000 miles out of them depending on what I am wearing them for. I have a pair that I use to run/walk and another pair to do errands. These are the most comfortable shoes.

Feel great, no complaints. I have high arches and I need support and these shoes are perfect. I always buy my running shoes one size bigger to allow toe room on long runs. I don't need to insert orthotics or anything. I suggest you try different types of Asics as they all vary depending on style and whether you need shoes to focus on stability, pronation, speed, etc. Based on my need for high arch support, I tested a number of running shoes over the years of running and now I only use Asics.

Work on my feet on concrete floors. Shoe is great.

The 26's fit so much better than the 27's. I tried the 27's but went back to the 26's.

This is my 2nd pair of Gel Kayano 26. I've worn Gel Kayanos for many many years & this doesn't disappoint. It's my spare so I haven't tried it on. I love the color!

I work standing for 10 or more hours anf and this shoe is perfect for me! It feels great and prevents my feet from hurting doing my job its hard to find shoes that are a good fot my long standing hours but I have found a GREAT FRIEND IN ASICS!

I love these shoes. This is the second pair I bought. They work well for my flat feet.
