I really like the stiffer sole on these shoes. Because I sometimes walk/run on uneven surfaces (dirt, grass, gravel, sand), the stiffer sole is perfect and more comfortable than my older Gel Kayano shoes.

Comfortable out of the box. No blisters breaking in. Felt true to size for me. Normally a 10-10.5 size but an 11 in running shoes. Lightweight great support. Usually a brooks fan but these may have me converted

I have the Kayano 26 in another color....been very happy with and wanted another back up pair....I have a very high arch and roll inwards and need a lot of support. These give me bounce and a "hugged in" secure feeling

These are the third pair of ASICS for me. I had ordered two pairs this time, and am sending one of them back. Only reason being that the color is not as described. What they call Blue Coast/Pure Silver has a LOT of light green color as the second color, rather than blue and silver. So these are going back. But only for that reason. Maybe call them by the correct colors, so customers know what they're getting?

Unlike many of you who are excellent runners and other athletic sports ,and have been using this brand if sneaker for several years. I am a restarting my exercise program over again due to some medical problems in which it has taken me out of doing my cross training high impact intensive work outs. These are my first Asics Gels Kayano 26 running shoes. I have long sz.7 MED flat feet and pronation narrow feet. I found these to have excellent arch support, very comfortable since I haven't worn any sport shoe in a long time. I have narrow feet ,so I am guessing that these run a bit more on the narrow side. I feel like my ankles,knees,hips are much more inline with my body due to the design for pronation and flat feet. The arch support is excellent not to overly so it doesn't take one days to get use to them like some do if one has this problem. I ordered my regular size 7 M . I originally went up a 1/2 size. But found that the arch support wasn't hitting the center of my foot were the arch support is. I think that's a personal preference as to how you like your shoes to fit. Even with long toes going up a 1/2 size my toes were at the tip regardless. Had I gone up a whole size they would be slipping on my heel. For those who are beginners and trying to find the best shoe for arch support and flat feet. To restart your exercise lifestyle I believe you would be pleased with this pair and model of running shoe or cross trainer. As mentioned most of the review's I've read are from very active experience runner's who have given mostly high recommendation. Having been a customer of Zappo's over 20 year's. They have an outstanding policy of trying your running shoes on concrete for 30 days if unhappy with these you have a full year to exchange size brand color ext. I purchased the peacock. I wear a lot of pastel colors even with black this color works well. Normally not a hugh fan of white however these just had something i liked. Hope this helps all of us who are new and just wanted to get active again. These are the sneakers to start with . Asics gel Kayano 26 For women has been my go to brand for nearly 20 years. I Pronate, so this shoe was worth every penny for proper posture and support. I particularly love the black shoe with minimal white detailing. I normally wear a 6 1/2 so the size 7 has always consistently fit perfectly and that has never deviated in the 20 years I’ve worn the shoes. It’s almost impossible to find the shoes on sale, that said, they are worth every penny because they last and they are very good quality support.

My perfect shoe. I am an ASICS Gel-Kayano convert. I wore Brooks for years but I was experiencing knee pain and recently tried the ASICS instead. Wow! I’m not looking back. I love these shoes so much I wear them for running, walking, running errands, everything. They are so comfortable and supportive and solved my issues. Excellent shoe.

I ordered an 8W and an 8.5W. I definitely needed the 8.5W so I'm returning the 8W. 8.5W fit perfectly and are very comfortable on my problematic feet. I really like the material the shoes are made of and seam to be very breathable.Thank you Zappos for your awesome return policy.

It feels like I’m walking on a pillow. So amazingly comfortable and supportive. Just order half a size larger than what you usually order in sneakers.

Fabulous shoe. If you have pronation and need all around balance support, this is the shoe. Attention: I normally wear a nine, and I have found Acis requires me to size up one half size. Otherwise, excellent and worth the price as I expect to maintain them for a long time.

Love my Asics Kayano 26 running shoes! I have been running about 20 years and wearing Kayano's for the last 10 years. They have come a long way with comfort and fit. The Kayano 26 are soft yet still offer just the right amount of support. I have not always been a fan of the colors but this year they hit a home run! This version fits as expected and the shoe laces are long enough to do a bit of creative cinch loops to make for a better overall fit. The toe box has plenty of room with a comfortable width for those of us with a wide forefoot and the heel cup is snug without being tight. These shoes are not boring in the color, style or function.

I have been wearing the Gel-Kayano for a long time. Other than those couple years when they were a bit narrow, I've found them to be consistent. I've been a 9 for as long as I can remember and these 9s fit as expected and perform great. I've already ordered 2 pair. Love the new colors!

Great running shoe. My last few pair of running shoes have been Asics and I have been extremely pleased. I usually wear a 10.5 but buy my running shoes a bit larger so I went with an 11. I love them. Good cushioning. Great support. I even had someone tell me that they made my feet look smaller!

After trying about 5 other running shoes, these were by far the best. Not as good as my older Kayanos, but good enough. I have plantar fasciitis and these were the only running shoes that didn’t hurt my feet. I also love the color - I got the gray with rose gold.

Love this shoe...width is right on, arch support is indeed moderate (I wish it were more substantial), it feels a bit stiff but most likely will feel better after wearing a few times, color combination is really fun, AND it does run short...for me, I needed to order a half size larger.

Always wear this style but had trouble finding a comfortable fit with this edition. I always wear an 8 but it’s snug in my toes. My big toe is actually sore on the sides where my nail goes into it. I ordered the 8.5 to try, but they felt too long. So, it’s more of a toe width issue. My other Keyano’s were so comfortable but I had worn down the tread, so I’m just gonna try to get used to these. They are a lot of money though, not to love the comfort level.

I have worn Asics Gel Kayano's for at least 10 years. This particular shoe the 26 runs extremely short. The width seens fine.
