This style, in any color, is the only no-show sock I've found that works! They stay in place 100% of the time, and they don't show (except maybe a thin sliver at the heel, which I don't mind—as nothing shows in front or on the sides). And don't be deterred by their being made of wool—they stay cool even on hot steamy summer days.

The silicone strip on the heel of these socks is worthless. The socks are constantly slipping off the back of my foot and therefore unwearable.
If they’d fix the silicone strip, these would be the perfect sock: skimpy enough to stay hidden under most loafers, sneakers and booties, yet substantial enough to provide some cushion, moisture wicking and blister protection.

I like the oatmeal color, and I also bought black. I have older pairs in a size medium, but by the end of the day, my toes would feel pinched. And I have narrow, size 8 feet. I bought these in a large and they feel more comfortable, with no slipping off my heel. These also have more cushion in the forefoot than my older pairs.

I purchased these after reading a suggestion for using them to cover the removable insole on a pair of black sandals. The original insoles were a light color that would easily show dirt, which would detract from the appearance of the sandals. These no-show socks work perfectly! Not only do I prefer the look of the black insole on the black sandals, but they can also be easily removed for washing to keep the sandals smelling fresh. For my purposes, these socks are perfect. I will be anxious to try them as actual socks when sandal season is over.

I love this mini sock. I wear them with my low cut athletic shoes for walking and to the gym in gym shoes. They are fabulous. They have a little gripper strip (very small and not noticeable when wearing) that must help them not slip down, because the do NOT slip down. I bought another pair for myself and ordered some for my husband. Complaint would be they're spendy. And kind of like a spider in the house that you've killed and can't find the corpse, these socks are hard to find in the dirty laundry! I've been putting them in a lingerie bag.

I do not with the customer whom says these socks do not stay in place...Maybe this person did not buy the right size...I had that problem but all in all they are the best socks ever...

These do not show and they stay put!! As for size: I thought they may be a bit large (I ordered M; I wear women's sizes 9 - 9.5 shoes. Because I haven't tried a smaller size, I can't say if that would be better; however, the socks didn't bunch up. When I wore them all day, walking, the elastic did cut into my feet and after about 8 hours did cause a little discomfort. THESE ARE THE ONLY SOCKS OF THIS TYPE THAT DO NOT SLIP OFF OF MY FEET AND BUNCH UP AT THE TOES! Also, they were not hot (even though they are made of wool). I felt no difference from cotton socks regarding warmth.
I broke the rules and accidentally washed them in the washer in cold water on delicate cycle, and went one step further and machine-dried them on low temperature: They were fine! I also purchased the liner socks and the Hide and Seek socks and they are equally good. Buy them.

These are the best in my sneakers and golf shoes. A Plus comfort and durability. I just disposed of all my cotton low cut socks.

Wow - these actually are comfortable and don't show in a pair of (for me) very high heels. I tried them in small and medium. Small fit even though I seem to be a medium based on sizing (7 shoe). Just ordered another pair - I have tried MANY versions of this solution over the years, thrown a lot away, and never found one that works. So glad I have this one now.

The size/fit is accurate, the merino yarn and silicone are comfortable and they do not slip. The only problem is that they are cut much too high in the front (bridge), and do not work with shoes that are cut closer to the toes. (Pumps, mary janes, ballerina flats etc.) Also had to use a black sharpy on the bright white smartwool logo!

The Smartwool Secret Sleuth ran large. I ordered the small but it was loose on my foot. The fabric is nice and soft. I prefer the seamless Smartwool footies.

The best "no show socks" ever! I have worn these to do brief hikes, bike rides, leisure strolls and they stay exactly where they need to. Super comfortable, as are all or the Smartwool socks I own and I own every type you can imagine for every season too; everyday, skiing, running, biking and hiking. A bit pricey but worth every penny as they wear beautifully and last way longer than any other socks I have purchased.
Wish that Smartwool would bring back the super cute and comfy women's knee socks. I would buy hordes of those for every day wear. The most comfortable, stylish socks in my drawer. By far my favorite. Unfortunately, Smartwool is carrying tons of crew socks (eek, not a fan) which don't work for me while wearing boots and do not address my cold, ignored calves ;)
