Son finally wears shoes thanks to the Velcro strap!

My child loves this shoe! He wanted a shoe for school that was Nike brand. It came just in time for the first day and it fits perfectly!

I am an adult with small feet who can wear kid shoes and these were super comfty. The only issue is that after about a year, the velcro stops working well. I suppose kids feet grow and that isn't an issue for a growing child, but for a small adult, they became unwearable after a while for this reason.

Everything is great but the velcro strap doesn't seem long enough.

The Medium width was narrower than other Nike kid shoes we've ordered. Had to return.

My son reported that these shoes felt a little narrow than his last pair of Nike sneakers. We held on to them, and they seem to have stretched a bit. They look great. My son is pretty hard on his sneakers, and these are holding up reasonably well - we will probably get a few months out of them.

These seem narrower than previously purchased Nike sneakers of the same style. The strap will not stay connected to the velcro due to how narrow the shoes are.

The Velcro strap is a little too short! My son has average sized feet, no reason that it wouldn't fit him. I feel like I've seen this comment several times. Come on Nike!! Seems like a pretty easy fix.

gave this less than stellar stars because they are not designed with a little boy in mind. Within a week of wearing them; the toe rubber was starting to separate and working 2 months, my son has worn holes into the fabric. He doesn’t wear these every single day, it’s really a quality thing and I’m a little upset about it. He’s had many pairs of Nikes and none have been like this. I’ll certainly be avoiding this star runner line as they are not meant for boys who actually run, jump and play in them.

My son doesn’t have particularly wide feet but the Velcro barely reaches across his foot and comes undone easily.

My son wore these a few times but complained that the velcro would come undone. The velcro is not a full loop (going from one side, through and eye and returning to the starting point); it just goes from one side to the other so the contact area is very small and is not secure. He only told me this was a problem after we'd passed the 30 day guarantee period, otherwise I would have returned them.

These shoes were great...for awhile. The Velcro stopped sticking together long before my daughter outgrew these shoes, and we had to replace them earlier than expected. It’s a shame, as we bought them thinking she’d have them at least until her feet grew.

We didn’t keep them because another pair was preferred, but there was nothing wrong with them. They’re a little boring and I’ve never had good results with kids Nike shoes so I’m not sad a different pair was chosen.

These shoes are okay. One problem is the velcro strap is very short. When the shoe is on my son's foot it only overlaps about a 1/2 inch to attach. If the velcro gets fuzz in it then it will not stay attached. The velcro often won't stay shut.

The strap is too short and kept coming undone.

We have had problems with the velcro on this one. It's like it doesn't stick. I probably should have just contacted Zappos from the start but I didn't. We haven't gotten much use from these. I maybe just got a bad shoe because they work fine for our other 3 boys.

The velcro strip is too small and does not stick or stay properly! Very frustrating.
