I've ordered these shoes before, and in the past they've offered 4E as an option in width and I wish it were still an option. They are a little narrow for my feet, which are wider than most. Having shoe salesmen in our family, I have an old fashioned shoe stretcher which I placed in each shoe overnight, and it really helped with the fit. If your feet are of average width, they'll probably fit you just fine. Overall, they're a great shoe.

i have been wearing 608s for several years now. there always perfect fit cushoning and widith. i wear mine all year long as i can!! perfect price too. i have a new balance store near by, ll bean has the best shoe and price. have fun in your shoes!!!!!!!

The New Balance 608 was recommended by a podiatrist friend. It offers support and comfort. I did follow the advice to get a half-size larger.

Walking is almost a daily exercise for me, close to a mile on average. I went to a size 13 to get more room for my big toe, especially going downhill. These have done the trick. The fit feels good all around. My big toes once again have nails.

This is the best workout shoe I've had in years. I've been using it mainly for BodyPump (choreographed free weights) but would also feel completely comfortable doing elliptical in it. Great structure and stability, and I basically don't notice it, which is what I want from a workout shoe. A size 8D usually fits me, and there's bit of extra wiggle in the heel of these, but nothing slightly thicker socks don't fix. If I were going to wear the shoes for running or dance aerobics, I'd probably want a 7-1/2.

I need a sneaker with leather caps over the toes instead of mesh as my toes quickly poke holes in mesh. These New Balance shoes have leather and are very good looking. They are also very comfortable on long walks and in the gym.

Comfortable with socks from the moment I first put them on. Great for my daily walks. They look and feel great. Highly recommend.

The Women's, New Balance, 608 Cross Trainers, Leather, fit great. They're supportive & comfortable to wear all day long. Great for working out; for working in the office or for working in the yard. Easy to clean.

I recently bought these as a new pair of workout sneakers. I still have an older pair that I will use for outdoors now as they are still in really good shape. This brand never lets me down, always a good fit and they last many years.

I am replacing my husband's previous New Balance sneakers that he has had from Bean for 15 years! They literally last forever. He wears them mostly for walking on the treadmill inside. They are his favorite brand of sneaker, good support and comfortable right out of the box.

Like most New Balance shoes I have purchased over the years, I ordered a half size up and the shoes fit me perfectly. I was concerned that the shoes might have been "built to a price" and not up to the quality standards I would hope for, but I have been very pleased with the product's appearance and comfort. I use these shoes for treadmill walking and other light exercise.

I bought these for my grandson. I ordered a size larger than he normally wears. They fit him. I bought them in black. He like the shiny color. I am waiting to order New Balance for my granddaughter but they are on back order.

I love them. I wear braces on my feet and I needed a shoe that would fit and they are perfect and look great!

Ordered the shoes for my husband as he was having discomfort in his feet. They fit very well from the on set and his feet feel good in them, discomfort hs stopped.

these were for my husband. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal per the other reviews and the LL Bean recommendation and that worked out fine. He was able to wear them right away, no break in period.

I was so pleased to find this product on LL Bean. My husband has worn these shoes for years and requested a new pair for Christmas.
