I purchase New Balance regularly: size 10 and wide (2E) but for some reason these were larger than anything I have bought before. Still comfortable but kind of unusual

My every day shoes. After 15? years of wearing NB 608s I can no longer get them and I am not as pleased with these. I also will avoid buying shoes online if I can.

The shoe fits great for the wide width!! please it needs a better insole and better cushioning your customers deserve better!!

Bought these as just casual shoes and as such I guess they're okay, but the toe area is WAY too narrow and fairly uncomfortable.

Overall comfortable and the right size, but right side of the right shoe has a ridge that sticks into the foot (softly) when walking. Annoying, reflects poor quality control.

The shoe is well made but seemed a bit smaller that the size 11 I normally order from NB. The sole was stiffer and they did not break in easily. The inside padded was not as plush as my previous 609 model.

I planned on using them for daily cardio training but they're too wide and uncomforable.

I wear almost exclusively New Balance because I have a wide foot. This is first time that I have tried buying by mail. Never again. I ordered the same size as I wear in 993s. The feel was different and the shoe did not fit. I have returned it.

this shoe fits my 4E wide foot well bit there isn't enough support in the sole of the shoe. a will have to add a Superfeet insole insert.

I bought for my husband to replace an old pair of New Balance walking shoes that he loved. He has been buying similar NB shoes for years. I got these in size 7, 4E. He said they were uncomfortable. I had to return them. Will try another NB shoe.

The pair of New Balance that these shoes are replacing were of a higher quality. For one thing, the fabric lacing loops are difficult to start feeding laces through. Holes would be much better. The shoe itself seems to be built of lighter materials.

I walk 4-5 times a week for 3-5 miles. These shoes are well made but a little clunky because of the weight.

I have been happily and comfortably wearing NB cross-trainers (608, 623 and others) for many years, so it really pains me to give the latest version of the 608 a score of three, and almost a two. My previous pairs of 608s would certainly get a maximum score. The new semi-pointed shape of the toe box, if that's the correct term, is definitely unfortunate. I wear a quadruple E width (EEEE), and the old 608s were great, probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The new shape, however, crowds my toes. They're still better than anything else I've found, but the new toe shape was both a surprise and a very big disappointment. It was also disappointing to learn that they now are made in Indonesia rather than the USA. Still, I suppose it's better than their being made in China

I use this shoe to walk around a pool table (billiard table) three hours a day. This is a heavy shoe. It could be vastly improved with a breathable fabric upper which would lighten the shoe and allow it to be cooler on the foot.

around the house and in the car and going to someone,s house.i thought would like my other n/ b sneakers. the color is good. the toe is too pointed and it is unconfortable i am un able to wear them for more than a couple hours. i have to skip a day before i wear them again. returning them is not worth it, and i threw the box away.

I am a longtime New Balance Customer and that is what I wear. I loved the blue top, but it felt like I was walking on paper. I have never experienced such lack of support from any New Balance shoe over the last 25 years. That is why I returned them, and that was only pair I ever returned.

I've worn the same size of New Balance over the years. The last appears to be the same, but the insole is super cheap. The top layer flaked off after less than five days. This sliver thin insole may have something to do with the sides of the shoe rubbing up on my ankle bone. It's tough to walk, much less workout when you have the sides rubbing against your ankle. There seems to be solid cushioning, but the workmanship is sub par.

My feet are wide and I do alot if pavement waking. They look good and are well padded. However they are wide back in the ball of my feet area but tight in toe area. I got toe blisters my first outing of 10 kms. I never researched enough before buying. They are heavy, and well padded but feel spongy. I wore them outside before trying on a carpet so didn't try to return them. I gave them to a friend who is very pleased with them. He doesn't walk as extensively as me. NB is good but I need to get a diferent model of them.

After purchasing many 11.5 Wide New Balance Shoes, I am very disappointed because the fit on these is very tight. Will be returning them. Do not understand the fit issue!
