So many reviews on this site and other sites selling this backpack say over and over they didn't realize how small it is. The dimensions are clearly stated, get out your rulers/measuring tape people. Anyway, this is NOT a child size backpack. It's clearly made for an adult. Just not for someone who wants to bring everything including the kitchen sink. I don't have kids and I'm not someone who brings a computer with them every time I leave the house. I have been on the hunt for a very simple backpack that's small and compact. I just need a separate pocket to store my phone, an open space to carry my stuff, and something that's simple without a million little pockets. I ride a motorcycle so it's a good size to bring my lunch and a water bottle back n forth to work. Or load up my art supplies to go work at the coffee shop on the weekend. It's got clean lines which I like. It's a simple design which I like. It's got comfortable padded straps for easy carry. The only thing was I wish it came in black. Other than that this is exactly what I was looking for.

My family got this for me and I love it it's a great size for just the essentials and is not bulky/heavy, which is great because I'm only 4'11.

This is the perfect size for my laptop, water bottle, and a few notebooks. There is only one pocket with a laptop sleeve, which I appreciate as it is less clunky and streamlined. I am 5'3", and it fits great for my body, I was looking for a backpack that didn't look too big. So far it hasn't gotten too dirty when I take it outside, and it has stayed in a good condition.

I use this for travel to my everyday purse. It holds my iPad Pro well.

I use this everyday for work.I can fit all I need into it but it's not super bulky or big.It fits well on my back as well!

Stay at home mom here! Ditched my purses and larger totes for this one that doesn't allow me to over pack. It's my daily so I take it everywhere. The handles are nice and comfortable but the shoulder straps are golden. They are nicely padded with MOLLE type straps going down the front in case you need to clip on gear or keys or a pacifier. Good enough for going out to the river or to hike at the parks in central Georgia. Spot cleans well with no fade spots or water staining. Pretty good bag...I'd only ask for maybe a few small inside compartments for storage of smaller items like Chapstick, masks, gum or whatever. Overall, love it and would buy more for color.

I'm planning to use as a daypack for travel. Took it out for a hike this morning and was pleased with how comfortable it was. Seems well made and durable. It's on the smaller side, which is great, as it can't be overloaded. Plenty of room for water, sunglasses, sunblock, lightweight down jacket or hoodie, snack, wallet and keys. Appreciate that it's lightweight and packable in my suitcase.

I was nervous to spend this kind of money on a bag but I'm so glad I did. it is the perfect size; compact but fits everything I need. I managed to get four days worth of clothes PLUS a medium makeup bag inside and it still was not busting at the seams. my favorite part about this, besides the expandable laptop pocket (v padded) is the full front zipping down. I can access everything in the bag without taking anything out or having to root around for it. very happy.

I got this for my laptop. It says it has a laptop sleeve. Buts it's really tight. It's better for tablets. Wish they had just made it an inch bigger.

I got this bag right when it first came out, almost 3 years ago, and it has been by far my favorite backpack ever!! I could never compare to any other backpack in the world my favorite features are the straps and the size, I would be carrying more than 15 lb of computer, school, or work stuff and I would not be sore, or have shoulder, or back pain amazingly, I can't stop raving about. I have scoliosis and I wanted something that helped me go from university to work at the hospital, and it has been the best decision I have ever made. I'm also a short person 5'3 and I was originally looking for something not so big because then it's dragging down to the back of my thighs, and with this bag, I have support like no other, I wish they made more colors. The color stitching and overall structure of the bag have stayed intact. I haven't given it a proper cleaning in a long while. Also, I've looked for similar bags, like the Berkeley Day pack but it's not the same, they're not even on the same spectrum of comparison. I've also tried other brands with similar styles like ex: the Patagonia Atom backpack. I get excited just thinking about and I have it with me all the time. 11/10 recommend

I bought this backpack to use as an everyday purse. I have some medical conditions and I figured a backpack would be easiest for me to carry for a purse. I absolutely love this bag as a purse.

It is elegant and sporty! it is beautiful, the fabric the space and the occasions in which I can use it are many! As always North Face, including elegance, resistance with the best materials and seams and elegance in their cuts and innovative designs.

Using as a diaper bag and it's just right. Easily holds changing kit, change of clothes, and few extra diapers while not being too bulky. Using front zipper for my keys, phone, and wallet. Comfy to wear as a backpack and easy to grab with the tote handles.

I love the colors!! The size is great because it's not as big as a school backpack but would be good for a carry-on. Can't wait to use it and travel.

This is a beautiful backpack. Very compact, but big enough for a day trip. I fit my laptop, a notebook, bottle of water and snacks comfortably.

Literally one of the best backpacks I have ever purchased. Was able to easily fit 4 days worth of clothes for a 3 day trip, has the ability to hold a laptop, and the tote function for carry is a must.

I am so happy with my purchase! First of all, I love how this backpack looks. I took this backpack with me on a trip to the highlands of Scotland, and it really held up! Fits easily under airline seats as a carry-on, but it's still big enough to fit two water bottles, a box of granola bars, chargers, and all of our travel guide books. My only complaint is that it doesn't clip in the front, which makes it a bit difficult to hike with. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier!

My 7 years old girl love this pack for mini trip. It holds her iPad, and crayon etc. but it's worked well for her.

The best sized travel bag! This tote is such oh a great size. Although not a regular sized backpack it still fits my laptop in the laptop compartment! I took it to a theme park and it fit all my essentials while also being very stylish!

A great size for a light hike or for traveling. Who can say no to a cactus backpack? Is also a great size for a great size for kids. Not too big and not too small.

Haven't used it much yet but it is very cute and holds everything I need for the day when out shopping. Very useful for an overnight stay also.

I'm loving this tote pack! It's not huge; yet, has enough space for all the items that I need while traveling - it fits a Surface Pro, large water bottle, a small sweater and a book in the larger compartment, while the smaller compartment is ideal for a wallet, phone, keys, etc. I received a lot of compliments at a medical conference recently, which was at a more outdoorsy location. Love the color too! My only complaints would be that it could be a little bigger (maybe another 2 inches depth) and that the straps could be more comfortable.
