NOT waterproof! My husband was rolling up the water hose and the residual water squirted onto the top of this shoe. He felt water in his shoe which soaked the toe area of his socks. They are comfortable shoes, but waterproof they’re not and Zappos and Dunham need to quit touting them as such!

These sneakers are very hard to lace properly. The tight spacing of the holes makes it difficult to pull the laces tight enough. Also, the pull tab on the rear is way too small to fit a finger into. A shoehorn should not be needed for a pair of sneakers.

I have narrow flat feet and have been wearing the Dunham Cloud waterproof ankle height version for years. My only complaint was that they were too hot for South Louisiana in the summer time. The "Cool" version was just what I have been waiting for. They provide the same great traction and comfort with a ventilated top for hot weather. I added a set of Powerstep Maxx Breeze arch supports which fit perfectly.

This is a nice shoe for my 8-4E feet with high insteps, narrow heels and orthotics. Everything fits as long as I remove the supplied insoles and replace with Dr. Scholls simple, thin pillow soles or slightly thicker odor fighters. It took a little walking to get width worked in as the shoes adjusted to my feet, but now all is well. I wore them recently for a full day, and then another where we had to climb many steps, plus walk uphill and downhill. It is very unusual for me to find any nice looking shoes, but these are indeed very good looking and also functional. I would say that the fit, which used to be perfect on my high top hikers from Dunham, feels like it has been changed slightly to be more like a Rockport fit since they purchased Dunham. But they are still quite comfortable and I would highly recommend them. I have not yet done any real hiking with them, but my sense is they will be fine.

The boots were all around very good . If I could add a small improvement I would have the leather a little bit thicker . Have taken a couple of medium hikes that included some wet , muddy sections . All around comfortable and took almost no time to break in .

The very first day they felt like I have worn them for a month. Very comfortable and good traction on the trail.

I am challenged when it comes to finding 16N or 16B shoes. Stumbled across these and decided to give them a go. Was a little disappointed in the width as they can't be pulled tight enough for the narrow sizes. If the show lace is removed from the tongue holder then can get a few more millimeters of closure. Need to probably wear a thicker sock and that can help in filling them out. Overall, I would get them again.

Shoe is well made. Mine arrived without eyelet but Zappos’s made it right. Arch support is only moderate and the shoes fit best in thicker hiking socks.

I had to return my usual size 9 1/2 W as they were much too wide. The lacing is very narrowly spaced and very difficult to tighten properly. The pull tab on the back is so small that I can't fit my finger in to pull the sneaker on.

Since my husband has a pair of Dunham Cloud Waterproof boots he thought shoe would work as good alternative for wear during the hot summer. This shoe fit well but when he started to walk around the house in them they started rubbing his little toe. The shoe box seems to run smaller in this style than in the boot style. He tried them several times to make sure it wasn't a bunched up sock but it didn't work. Thanks to the wonderful customer service at Zappos he'll keep looking for that perfect shoe.

I usually wear a 14B, which is what I ordered. These were too wide with the socks I normally wear.

They were great except that I thought they were waterproof and they were not. Fit perfectly 11 - EE.

Feels great. More lightweight than my NB 928 v2 and offers good support. I have bad ankles and a left forefoot injury from 12 years ago that probably needed surgery and I am not sore after a day of work when wearing these. Of course, the crackpot team at Zappos refused to respond to my detailed emails about support. They are good at throwing out words about overprotonate and underpronate so I thought someone answering emails would have an opinion or something. But like all things Amazon, getting a thoughtful response is harder than pulling out a tooth.

This shoe fit perfectly when it arrived. I put it on towards the end of the day and sat down to watch TV. After a while I forgot the shoe was on! Then I walked around the house all evening and is still felt great. Will soon try a longer outdoor activity.

I really like the shoes. The fit is great and the material / impact on my feet is really pleasant. Not sure about the shoestrings though. They look good but are prone to come loose otherwise a great product. Thanks

As it has been with my two other pair of Dunham shoes, the fit and comfort has been perfect. Equally important during these warm summer months, the Cloud Cools have more than lived up to their name, and so far I've put a little more than 100 miles on them.

Size and width were as expected -- not quite as narrow in heel as Cloud Low, but still good fit. Very light weight. Not much padding in insole.

Vary comfortable shoes. The sole is a hard rubber so some breakin is necessary, but I love these shoes!

True to size and width. Very comfortable. Can walk all day and never notice them. Never owned Dunham's before but will look to them again in future.

These shoes fit and look great. I ordered an 8.5 - 4E, but was shipped an 8.5 -2E. I called Zappos and they arranged for an even exchange that I received the next business day. Great job Zappos.

I have a tough foot to fit, size 15 B. I have purchased many Dunham shoes from Zappos and have been happy with the quality and fit of each pair. Zappos service is top notch.

I got these a week ago. I use orthotics, and the shoes were instantly comfortable. After a few long walks, no soreness or blisters. The shoes are light and cool. Good for summer walking. I hope they are durable. If not, I will revise this!
