Customer Reviews New Balance Kids 455v2 (Infant/Toddler)

These are super cute and my two year old loves them. The only problem is the velcro tab to close them peeled apart. You can still use the velcro to close them, but the top part just flaps around. He did wear them everyday for about three months, they started peeling apart after about a month and a half of wear. We have had shoes of other brands that have lasted much longer than this. I bought another pair of New Balance for my four year old at the same time and the velcro flap is doing the same thing. Very disappointing because the rest of the shoe seems fine but it is really hard for them to use on their own.

These shoes are super cute but unfortunately they rubbed blisters on the back of my 3 years old's feet. You can tell from the picture that the back comes up a little higher then most sneakers and that was the culprit.

The fit and size felt true to size. The toe box seems wider than other toddler shoes which is nice! My two year old only wants to wear these sneakers now and she can put them on by herself which is great! I would recommend this product

Fit my 3 year old great. She loves them and seem to be very comfortable.

Very cute with elastic laces that don’t need tying and an easy Velcro closure at the top. Easy on/off, light and comfy. Just perfect for starting kindergarten.

It fit perfect for my close to 1 year old child. I had a 4.5 shoe that stopped fitting him and so this was perfect.

Perfect for my kids. Gender neutral design makes it easy to hand down from older son to younger daughter.

My son truly has fat feet for such a little guy. We’ve tried several shoes that claim to be “wide” but these are the only ones that fit him well so far. Most dig in at the top and the Velcro hardly fastens. But these stretch really well to provide him space, they go on easily and the Velcro is able to close all the way across. Would buy again.

My 15 month old loves them! Perfect fit

My three year old loves these. She declared them her Elsa shoes. Her little block feet fit great in New Balance size wide shoes.

These worked well for my 18 month. I bought a size 5 toddler for her. The only possible negative is that the strap seems a little ahort. She has only worn them a week so I can't say what the long term quality, but I have had success with New Balance for both kids for the past 6 years.

My kid has the wide width. Works great for chubby feet. This is our second time buying this style. They last a long time.

Exactly what I expected

Very cute and fun shoes!! I bought these for my 23 month old daughter. Size 7.5 fit perfect leaving a little room to grow.

My daughter loved the color of these shoes. She is enjoying wearing them.

Too narrow, could barely get my son’s foot in the shoe

These shoes were very stiff right out of the box. My kiddo loved the colors but couldn’t get passed how stiff they felt when he put them on.

So tight and hard to put on. Impossible for a three year old.

These sneakers are very attractive. However they are giving my three year old grand daughter blisters on her heels. The back of the shoe is raised and stiff. Unlike the New Balance I have purchased in the past these are a total disappointment.
