Ordered 7 extra wide for my son. He's loves them!

My son likes these shoes a lot. He has very wide feet and New Balance are the only brand that are true to width. He says they are very comfortable.

I have a son who has a wide foot. It's very difficult finding a stylish shoe that is a wide width. I got him the blue color in 5.5 wide and the fit was true to size. The color is nice and looks just as pictured.

I bought these for my son with orthotics. He got new orthotics and needed new shoes. He wears hinged AFO's. These were a little long in the toe, but not quite wide enough for the hinge. He previously wore a smaller size of this shoe with no issues. So it's just not a good fit this time.

My 8-year-old grandson wears W width, mainly I think, because he has some sensory issues with his feet. He LOVED these shoes! We ordered the wine color, something different for a change! New Balance is the only brand I've ever found that fits him comfortably and will last at least until I get the bill for them!!

My little kid went to bed with his shoes on last night! He loves them, they're easy to put on (high instep, wide foot), and they're cute, too. We tried another brand that people raved about fitting well, and they weren't wide enough for him. We love new balance for him and me, so we'll be sticking with these because they hold up and actually fit.

These shoes are perfect for a custom orthodic shoe. They fit perfectly with my sons braces. perfect width and dont have to struggle pushing them in as in previous shoes we have had.

These have been my son's favorite shoes for several years now. He's pretty hard on shoes, so I want to buy good, durable shoes that will hold up. A pair of these will last him about 4 months of heavy, everyday wear & tear before I start noticing holes in the fabric. I'm happy to have found Zappos, which carries XW kids shoes, which are very hard to find.

I bought these for my 7yo who uses orthotic inserts (for flat feet) and they are great. We've tried out lots of normal width shoes and they are always way too tight. These wider ones are perfect. The orthotic fits great, his foot fits snug/comfortable and we haven't had any problems. Highly recommend these and I'll probably be buying more in bigger sizes since we've finally found a shoe that works.

Fits great and my son loves the color.

My son loves these and I love the ‘no tie’ design. He wears wide in New Balance so I’m thrilled Zappos carries a variety of styles and colors in wide. Zappos and New Balance-a winning combination!

My son LOVES these! We order the Moroccan Tile (blue). He says they have a lot more support than his regular Ne Balances and they feel lighter on his feet. We walked 3 miles the first time he wore them and there was no ‘breaking in period’ so no rubbing at all. As a parent I appreciate the way NB combined Velcro and a stretch lace up design and eliminated the laces. I don’t have to remind him to retire them-yay! I’m going to order two more pairs for my other two sons. I have noticed with New Balance I have to order wide for my oldest son because they seem narrower than other shoe brands but now that I know that it’s not an issue. There is such a small difference in the 6w and the 6.5w that we ended up keeping the 6.5w. The 7w was significantly larger just to give a size reference for my 12 year old. These are definitely a winner! We highly recommend this style.

Love New Balance shoes! True to size and great quality!

Great for kids that can't tie their shoes (laces are just for show; velcro is only used for tightening). Nice that it comes in Wide size.

My son loves these shoes. Just a note on sizing: we bought a pair of Nike water shoes at the same time and those are size 13, whereas these New Balances are size 1.5.

These are great for a kid who's too busy to tie his shoes but they were a full size smaller than other brands (Nike, Adidas) for my son. Will need to order a larger size. They look nice though and I like their simpicity.
