Love them

Great shoes fit good width is perfect put in a new insole that is a little thicker with more cushion

Nice looking sneakers, light and comfortable.

These do not have the bounce of the upscale Gel Kayanos I used to wear for running, but they fit my feet very well as a size 13 and with a foot that's on the wider side. I use them for walking, hiking, and biking and have found they hold up well. It's a comfortable, airy fit in my size and

I selected this shoe after a lot of research based on my pronation needs. I have used it thus far for trail walking and paved path walking. The support was perfect and I did not feel any post walk discomfort or issues. I did find the shoe to be somewhat narrow not uncomfortably so but just a little tight in width. My last pair of Asics lasted 5 years with good support for under pronation with no changes. I did find the shoes were cheaper n Zappos versus the Asics site and as always Zappos has quick shipping and a more than reasonable return policy.

Love my new shoes. Zappos delivery was very quick and hassle free.

First let me say that this is the very best shopping experience for footwear selection and great website. I love my new Asics sneaker and what a selection to choose from. Very supportive and wonderful price points. Will continue to shop and have been referring friends to check it out. Thanks for a great experience.

Best Shoes Ever! Worst Laces Ever! -------------- The shoes felt very good right out of the box & still feel very good well over 100 miles later. They support the sides of the foot as well as the arches & comfort the ball. -------------- Oddly, I have one leg-foot combination that supinates (over pronates) with a very high arch and one close to normal leg-foot, but still supinates. With these Gel Venture 7, both now feel equal. The knee stays vertical & the foot lands evenly. The outside ball of the goofy foot isn't being pressed down, as it is on most shoes. The soles don't show any wear yet, but I'd imagine I finally have a shoe that will wear evenly, despite supination. (Hint: To determine if shoes are curing your over or under pronation- cover the soles with very slightly sticky tape, like green painter's tape & walk or run 10 or so miles on pavement. If the tape "sole" moved toward the center of the body, you are still supinating. If it moved toward the shoulder side of the body, you're still over pronating. It it stayed in place, either the shoe is working great or the tape was too sticky to move.) -------------- Both arches are excellently supported. Not too little & not too much. At first, the bad foot arch felt unsupported & the semi-good one felt over supported. After about 10 miles, both are now happily & evenly supported. (Must be the magic insoles & footbed) -------------- The soles have frontwards & backwards tread so they grip going up hill & down. They are as good on pavement as they are on dirt (very good). I can't wait to to try them on ice & snow. (I wished for snow & ice?? That's a first!) The tread is quite deep, so if you go 'mudding', let the dirt dry & flex it off before walking in the house. (Learned that one the hard way!) -------------- The construction is top-notch. There are no missed stitches, no oddly cut panels, no dye goofs. Nice materials & nice build quality here. They are well vented, but not leaky vented. Actually, an accidental shot with a water hose left my foot quite dry. The shoes dried promptly, too. -------------- I think these shoes are vegan, which is a nice touch. There is no leather- The shoe's completely made of science project materials. Unfortunately, in our world, vegan shoes means more petroleum products get used instead. All of this shoe is recyclable, however. I read on a competitor's site that these shoes are made from recycled materials, but I don't know for certain if that's true. -------------- Now, on to the lousy laces- These laces are very lightweight & thin- like those on the finest dress shoes. Not only do they come loose constantly, they knot themselves about every time I use them. One is already fraying at an eyelet. That's unfortunate because the black-with-yellow-dots laces look quite complimentary on the "Metropolis / Black" color choice. -------------- Subjectively speaking, I'm not crazy about the 'cage' look the black, vertical stripes give the shoe, but that's just my opinion. If they came in white or white-blue I'd buy more pair instantly. -------------- Size Wise, I can't give you a good hint. I have well fitting shoes from 10-1/2 US to 12 US, in various brands. These Size 12 fit fine. I can't even tell you if they match New Balance, Johnson & Murphy or other brand sizing, since I have various well fitting shoes of each brand in various sizes. Thankfully Zappos is quite polite & fast about exchanges. -------------- Do I recommend these Gel Venture 7? Yes, without hesitation. But order real laces so you can start enjoying the shoes right away. (Size 12 takes 60" laces). Have Fun! Stay Safe! Enjoy Your Shoes!

My husband has hard to fit feet, long and wide. These are 12 4Ewide and he loves the fit. Very comfortable.

Good solid soles giving the support my feet need on the rocks and roots of the trail or just the plain old road. Always happy with ASICS and particularly the Zappos service.

Fit and size were good. I always that the insole out and throw it away. I replace it with a Dr. Schoals comfort insole. Feels much better. Asics could put a better insole in the shoe.
