My new kicks are stylish and comfortable and you can’t beat the price!!!

I find that it has little arch support. I have flat feet so I need the support. Nike running shoes used to have decent arch support for many years. Now hard to find

Have the Downshifter 6 shoe's at a size 11, so got these in the size 11 thinking they'd be the same somehow. Go figure they aren't... Guess the 8 year old at the shoe plant that made my 6's, got promoted to middle management as an 12 year old... Much like purchasing anything that has sizes in this world, they never stay the same....

Size was ok but the width too narrow. I would like to return this pair in exchange for a size 15, ee width.

Not wides

The box is labeled 4e however the shoes do not fit like a wide

Shoe looked great and felt great, ordering a size smaller though.

I use this shoe for working out in the gym (lifting and heavy/speed bag work). It’s fine for this type of workout.

Great shoe. Men’s size 9.5 fits better than women 11. Very narrow. I returned them. Good arch. Squeeze my toes. Holds foot tightly. Had to loosen strings. Can’t wear with compression socks.

True to Nike fit

Finally a shoe that is wide enough to insert “super green” insert for high arch support. There are so few wide shoes in decent styles so I had to try a medium with this medium width shoe and cross my fingers it would work with the insert. It did - thank goodness!

I bought these to replace my worn out Nike Flex. Similar to the Flex: light weight, stretchy fabric uppers that conform to my feet, good support. Somewhat better looking than the Flex, which look like clown shoes.

Compared to previous versions of the Downshifter I have worn (12 4E), this version is a bit smaller. Maybe it is just the pair I received but I do think the Downshifter 9 runs a bit smaller than 7 and 8.

The first pair, my normal size were too small, tried 1/2 size larger and am happy. They are very comfortable, I have never made that comment on other shoes. My gripe, why is there no 4E identifier on the tongue (neither pair)

The shoe felt a little tight in the width but after using them about 5 plus times they are starting to feel better in the width and overall they feel pretty good and are great looking.

The insoles were removable, but like almost all Nikes I've tried, the shoes are too shallow for my own inserts. When I put in my own with better heel support, the heels were so shallow my heel no longer stayed in the shoe securely.

Too snug runs smaller than the Downshifter 8

After three months of moderate use, holes appeared on top of the shoe near the big toe location. I use them daily but rarely walk more than two miles per day. Wearing out in this short time is unacceptable. This also occurred with an earlier version of the Downshifter but after a much longer usage (approx. 1 year) and that was acceptable.

Although most Nike shoes run small, these are really narrow, even with the laces loosened. My son said they squeeze is foot.

My son couldn’t wear these shoes because they were too tight. The length was perfect but they hurt his feet because they’re very narrow.

I REALLY wanted to like these shoes. I wear Brooks because I have WIDE feet. 9.5 4E. These Nike shoes were much lighter and a bit less cushioning than my Brooks Ghost but also much less expensive and cuter on my girl feet. Well, after wearing them on a 3 miles walk and knocking about town for a couple of days, my left toe and surrounding area started to hurt. I switched back to my Brooks and the pain left. So, sadly returning them.

I wear a size 12 normally. Nike usually run a size small on me. i ordered a size 13 and i can't get these on my foot. too small and too narrow.
