Great looking shoe but I prefer more of a barefoot feel for my running shoes and these were a little too thick.

I don’t run but I walk. I settled on the Downshifter 9 and very happy I did. Bought 2 pairs. I have a narrow size 12 foot. Nikes fit me better than the other brands. I like the downshifters simple clean design. Very adjustable lacing that gives me a virtually perfect snug fit without any rubbing. I wear the can’t see em sock. The padding under the ball of the foot feels like a former pair of Pegasus I have. Not overly cushiony. The heel feels cushioned and moderate arch support. The sole does not protrude like the latest versions of the Pegasus and Vomero. (Nike lost me on their latest bozo the clown shoe design with the giant heels and air sacks-haha). Liking my new Downshifters a lot.

These fit great (true to size) and look clean, too! Great tennis/running shoe and would definitely recommend.

Bought these for my dad who specifically asked for an all black sneaker. Happy to find this on a whim and it came in extra wide - double bonus! 9.5 was way too big so I was able to return it for 8.5 which fit him perfectly. He says it’s lightweight, comfortable and it breathes.

Purchased these for husband who has wide feet and they were a huge hit. He says they're comfortable, lightweight and perfect for working out and walking. I can see we will be getting a second pair in the near future.

Love the Nike shoes that come in the 4E width they are a great fit for people with extra wide feet. I am a women ,but the women's wide shoes just are not wide enough.

Great look, Easy to get on, snug but not uncomfortable. For me wide footed people, if you're looking for a shoe that is comfy but also visually pleasing and doesn't look too clunky this is it. The shoe makes your foot appear narrow while still being a very nice fit. 10/10

Great shoe if you have a wide forefoot and high volume instep. I have "fat feet" as I like to call them, and these fit excellent.

I love these shoes. As a guy with a higher volume and wide foot, these are the perfect sneaker for me!

I have been purchasing the Downshifter line of Nikes since the Downshifter 5. They have been getting better of the years. I normally wear a size 13 4E but know that I need size 15 whenever I order Nike shoes. They are always smaller. See for yourself in a shoe store. Pick up any size Nike and compare it to the same size of Sketcher or New Balance. These shoes are easily 1" shorter in length if same size you wear is ordered. Just order 2 sizes larger for the perfect fit.

Liking the look, the green is just right. Liking the feel too. I have work a hole w my toe w other running shoes before, doubt that will happen with these

Fit was perfect for my broad feet very comfortable shoe. These are the second pair I have purchased. Great value for the money.

Light shoe and pretty comfortable - not much of a runner but feet felt fine after 16 hour day with lots of steps

They fit true to size. I have had these shoes for years, as backups, and have worked so well for jogs and walking my dog. I would definitely consider purchasing another pair.

After 9 months of moderate wear this pair of Downshifters failed me. Part of the sole started separating from the shoe. Surprised as I’ve been wearing Nike’s for 30 years and never had this or any other problems. Glad I’d purchased from Zappos as they cheerfully refunded my payment after 9 months. Can’t complain about that. I have other pairs of Downshifters and no problems. Still a Nike fan but Zappos is awesomeness.

Perfect for gym and all day comfort

Shoes function as desired. Reasonably good fit. Attractive styling.
