I wear these shoes daily and was so glad to be able to purchase a color other than black or grey. They are very supportive and good walking shoes. The quality holds up to the price. They are also one of the few NB shoes that come in an extra wide width for small feet.

I've found my shoe for life. I wear a size 9 but always have trouble finding something that is not too wide. I usually have to size down and sacrifice the length being too short. NB offers the narrow sizing in neutral colors, a win win for me!

Excellent support and good fit. I particularly like the arch support.

I walk for exercise. I like the support from this shoe. Very supportive and plenty of heel height to absorbed shock, I think.

Love the color. They are replacing my dark pink ones which I also love and have had for years!!! Love New Balance! This brand really is the answer preventing tired, aching feet at the end of a long day at work!

My 990v5 spends most of it's life on the tennis courts. I play everyday unless the weather is below 55 degrees F or raining. I am an advanced player so these shoes have to make many quick stops, direction changes and support quick movement in any potential direction of 360 degrees. They are comfortable, supportive, and sturdily constructed, reminiscent of the superior craftsmanship which was common during the 1st half of the 20th century in the USA. I purchased these shoes because they offered a US 6.5 extra wide size . Prior to finding the 990v5, I had purchased many a "tennis shoe" in a D width but due to the incredibly painful corns they caused, I had to throw them away. The extra wide option of the 990v5 changed my world. No more pain. Can these shoes be available in other colors? I obviously need white for tennis. Gray and black have their place, but more color options would be exciting. Also, I do not understand why these shoes are labeled "lifestyle". They are superb tennis and workout shoes , as well as general walking shoes.

I walk about 5 miles per day. The 990v5 has proven to be the best shoe. Comfort and fit are great. I just bought my second pair. Please NB, do not change this shoe. Only black and navy were left when I ordered the second pair. Please NB, make the other colors available again. BTW, I needed the wide.

I have arthritic feet and these shoes support better than any shoe I have tried.

I purchased the 990 for interval jogging and walking. I recently wore them for boot camp. I purchased a "AA". It feels great not having my feet sliding around. Another benefit for me is that my knee pain with walking and jogging is resolved. I know that knee pain can be caused by a variety of other things but for me good shoes make the difference. That's usually how I know its time to buy ne shoes. I'm sure Ill be buying another pair in about 6 months. Love them.
