Customer Reviews New Balance Made in US 990v5

As a trainer doing multiple types of training outdoors and in, I love this version of the 990's the best yet. My 4th pair and all have held up with daily use for two years or more. I cycle them in and out along with my 800 series during the week always feel like I have good foundation and quick movement.

Every day use ,but I love them it's rare that you can't find nice sneakers in 2,3&4x !!!!!!! It's wonderful ,all sneaker companies should consider doing that ,but until then I will only buy New Balance!

This is my second pair of 990v5's. These are the most comfortable shoes that I have purchased in my life. I walk daily and these shoes are awesome. I will continue to buy NB 990v5's.

Very comfortable wear them all the time.Was hesitating about buying them but glad i did.

These 990v5's have an amazing build quality. They are soft and light on the feet. The insoles are great and easy to wear all day. And they are made in the USA. I'll definitely be purchasing more of these.

It is with great disappointment that I write this review. The 990v5 is NOT the same shoe as the 990v4. The last pair I purchased were in November 2020. The toe box already has holes in the mesh. There is some sort of appendage inside the shoe that is wearing on my right big toe. The cushioning is not the same as the 990v4. The fit is not the same. I've measured each shoe from different pairs I have kept; they are not the same or consistent. I now have back, (big) toe and foot pain. After reading the other recent reviews, I see many have the same issue. What happened?

First 990 shoe I have bought. Found it to be comfortable right out the box and went walking the first day. Looks good and will buy it again.

My podiatrist suggested I use these for walking and daily use. They feel like they need to be broken in, but that's because my feet are a little wide. I'm pretty much happy with them, except the sneakers are a gray shade , and they came with white laces...complete contrast, and looks out of place

I use these shoes every day with the thin sport carbon fiber insoles. I've purchased the same combination twice. I love everything about them but the price is a little high. You get what you pay for though.

Classic style and fit goes with everything. Can't go wrong with this shoe, very comfortable!!

I really like the style of these. I have them in navy blue. They are also very supportive. Many sneakers these days are on the flimsy side and not very supportive. These are solid and fit well.

This item, I think it is too expensive. I ordered 4X for my wide foot, but I don't feel enough to relax. I rather prefer my old 608 V4 shoes, which is much wider. Toe box space seems enough for long foot. I sense my foot be tightened because of tight middle space. I was disappointed generally.

I use this as an everyday shoe, it's so comfortable. This is the best shoe I've ever had, and it goes with everything I wear. Its stylish, so it gets 2 thumbs up from me.
