This shoes are great to wear to work or on weekends. Comfortable the moment you put on until you take them off. They have great arch supports. Expensive but worth every penny! Great stability shoe also.

Very comfortable sneaker - use it everyday for walking several miles.

The only athletic shoe I buy. I've got seven pair at the time; one pair for semi nice, one pair for day to day, a pair to wear with blue jeans, an old pair for mud, another old pair for water, and a couple of smaller sized pair for sockless summertime. My wife has also got a couple pair for daily use. Only drawback is the are never on sale. You can cry once when you pay for them or cry every time you put them on.

The last couple of months before I purchased these, I was struggling with plantar Fascitis. I would come home from work and my feet were in a lot of pain. I had to wear night splints every night. Since I got these, I can walk all day and not be in any pain. It's helped me with working out, and everything. If someone reading this struggles with foot pain. I recommend these.

Feels comfortable and, with an added insole, gives me the support I need.

These are the best all round shoes I've ever bought. I lift weights, run, and wear them throughout the day. I've been buying these for 10 years and I don't plan on buying any other type. Best of all, they're made in America.

Classic, modern, American made, prime quality, and that sexy N. Plus, great stability and comfort. Purchase a 990 pair every year for the past 12 years and this is by far the most comfortable and best looking. Keep it up New Balance and please continue to stay inclusive. Truly, Latin NB Fan.

I bought these for my son for a birthday gift. This style of new balance is his favorite. He is so happy. I may be purchasing this style in another color for Christmas. Thank you for making a great shoe not only the style, but also the comfort.

These are wonderful shoes that are made in America. I needed a quality built shoe that would cushion my feet. First test was Epcot food and wine fest. A good 6 straight hours of walking around the world was a success.

I wear a 990 everyday to work. It's the only sneaker that helps with my flat feet and fits my orthotic. This isn't my first pair of 990's and it definitely isn't my last.

I have always been happy with these sneakers . You won't be disappointed.

I haven't worn New Balance shoes in the past and was not sure of the best size. I am an 8D in shoes but sometimes larger in a tennis or running shoe. The service rep suggested that I order 8D and 8 1/2D. This suggestion saved me a lot of time. It turned out that the 8 1/2D worked best. The shoe is very comfortable and offers great support. When I returned the 8D, i ordered a 2nd pair in 8 1/2D. I recommend this shoe and New Balance.

This was my 4th pair of NB 990's. The fit is perfect.

So far very comfortable. Good for working out and just walking around.

Even if you wear it for a long time, you don't feel uncomfortable and cushioning is good.
