I use these shoes for working out, running, and walking. They are the most comfortable and supportive shoes I own. In these days of unreliable foreign supply chains, I especially value the fact that much of their manufacture is based here. I also respect New Balance's design discipline and restraint. While Nike makes shoes that sometimes resemble clown wear, so ridiculously tricked up as to be embarrassing except to those who feel the need to wear them, NB's no-nonsense designs are particularly pleasing.

Love the look and feel of the 990v5. Some people unfortunately don't appreciate the craftsmanship of these shoes. When worn right, these shoes look better than most hype shoes.

Love the shoes. Fit just right. My second pair of this particular shoe. Felt good from the start. Rather expensive though. I wore Nike's for years, think I'm over that now.

I've given these a couple long runs, no complaints. I'm a size 13, they feel a little looser than my previous pair of shoes, but it's not a big deal.

It is the best thing that I have felt in years, I had these 990's for years now and my back and leg pains have diminished thematically over time

The grey colors of the suede and leather are very neutral so they can be worn with almost anything. I usually wear a 10.5 but sized up and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable too.

These New Balance 990 v5 Made in USA are not only exceptionally comfortable, but classic in style. I love the use of genuine suede leather material. it's great to see companies still using the best and longest lasting and irreplaceable premium materials.

I walk 2.5 miles per day and need good comfortable shoes that last. These are great and the only shoes I wear for walks. Other shoes cause my arches to hurt.

I have a wide foot. These sneakers are a great fit for my feet. I wear them for 8 while I'm at work, My feet are happy to have them!!!
