I have been wearing 990s since about 2010. I use them for walking, jogging or just everyday use. I found my first pair when shopping at my Air Force Exchange store. I wear 9 wide US and have never found another sneaker with the comfort, fit and durability as the 990s have. I will continue to keep wearing them forever! I recently purchased the blue V5 and love them. 990s don't come cheap. But your feet are worth it...buy a pair!

We were thinking about to buy another pair, however, the 6E or xx-wide is not available! I hope it will be available soon. Especially Made in USA!!!

I've worn the 990 since the first version of it came out all those years ago. My fav running/walking/gym shoe. Wide fits my foot perfectly and the style is always great.

I read good and bad in the new style change. I can't tell any difference in the fit from previous style. Great American quality shoe.

Have worn these for years and are my best all round shoes. Wear back with a tux and get compliments galore.

15 years ago I wandered into a specialty sports store. I am a walker. I was looking around, and the sales person recommended the New balance 990. It was a little more than than I normally pay, but I gave it try. Long story short, it was a great value and I've worn them ever since. There is not break-in period with these shoes; I wear than comfortably from the time I first put them on. They last a long time, so I am totally satisfied.

The 990v5 is the best shoe that I have ever worn! The only athletic shoe I will ever buy! I wear them while working out and then run in them about 3 miIes every M,W,F. I keep two pair and rotate every other day. I go through two pair every year. I keep the two older pair and use them for yard work for a year. I have been wearing New Balance shoes for 10 years since a friend recommened them. I will be a New Balance customer forever!

I purchased the 10.5 wide and couldn't be happier perfect fit, comfortable and stylish. I would definitely recommend a pair of these.

Great pair of shoes, comfortable and American made. This is my third pair of new balance American-made walking shoes I wouldn't buy anything else. Each pair seems to get better they are the most comfortable walking shoes I have had. I always pay close attention to where my products are made and if possible I always buy made in the good old USA

If my feet feel good, I feel good! It is that simple. 990s have always been my go to shoe for casual wear. They look good and feel great, giving my feet the support they need to be on the go all day!

The shoe is extremely comfortable. But the very best part is that they are made in the USA. I would pay extra for this in the future.

My husband has a high arch that requires a wide shoe, finding a size 8 in Mens with wide width is hard to do. I was cautious of the price, but thought if they fit and help with his walking & balance it will be worth it. Totally worth it and we will be ordering him another pair very soon. Good job New Balance on meeting the needs of people who need wide width shoe.

New Balance makes the greatest shoes. The shoes made in America are the greatest.

Love these shoes for jogging. I have Two pair. My Wife is ordering a pair now.

These are actually for my husband. We had a very hard time finding anything in his size at any stores. Took a chance and ordered them online. He says they fit fine and are very comfortable.

I've been wearing 990's for 45 years. There is no better athletic footwear for me. Plus they look nice. They're expensive but worth every penny.

I have a polio foot and have been buying the NB 990 for years. The only tennis type shoe that gives me support and reduces pain. The price hike was a little uncomfortable but, as you can see I have stayed with them. US made also made a difference.

I was recommended to these shoes by my podiatrist and I've been buying these for years now. They really work great with my orthotics and totally have eliminated all the pain from planter fasciitis. I would totally recommend these shoes to all the friends.

Best fitting shoe I've ever worn. I ordered AA 12 1/2. walking in it is a dream , way to go new balance.
