Have bought the made in USA for years! Wear well!!

This is the second pair of 990v5's that I have had. I used to buy the earlier version but these are even better. I need orthotics and when I insert the orthotics into these shoes they feel really great. They are not cheap but they are made with the the highest quality and I certainly think they are worth the money. If you have foot problems get some tailor made orthotics and a pair of these and you will find yourself walking again.

I love this shoe. I have worn this particular shoe for the last 5 years. It provides great support.

I'm 69 years old and I work standing on my feet all day. These shoes helped me endure this pain free. They are worth every penny. I recommend themto everyone.

This is my 6th pair of the NB 990 shoes, These have been without a doubt the most robust and stable walking shoes I have ever tried.

No supply chain problems when Made in USA. The quality is still there! That's why this has been my only sport's shoe for at least a decade.

I bought this pair for my husband and he says the fit is great.

I use them for every day living and exercise walking. I used custom orthotics in them and, between the two, my feet and ankles are very well supported

Everyday wouldn't buy any other shoe. If your not in these your missing the best sleep after a long day on your feet.

I've been a huge fan of the 990s and 2002s for years and always buy several pairs of each generation to wear throughout the week. I spend long days on my feet for work and these shoes have been the best fit & comfort for long days. I loved the 990v4 and had 5 pairs of them! HOWEVER, the V5 of these shoes are awful, they're noticeably bigger than the v4 in the same size. You can put them side by side and see the toe box is wider, the shoe is bigger and after buying a couple pairs of my normal size, I found out that I needed to get a half size smaller just to sorta fit correctly. I've never had to change shoe size in 20+ years. Also, the various color/style options are completely different fitting/comfort from each other. I've bought and returned several pairs of each and still have comfort issues with these shoes after wearing them for several weeks. It seems like there is either a QC issue or a materials sourcing issue. I've never seen this guy of inconsistencies on the shoes. For shoes that cost over $150/pair, I'd have expected more from these. I really want to like them, but the V5 are awful and i've given away ALL of my pairs way early or nearly new because they're impossible to wear! Here's hoping the V6 are better.

I was introduced to New Balance by folks I knew having a background in track. They swore by the quality & durability of NB shoes going back many years. Though not into track myself, I trusted their advice on NB products and soon discovered why. I've purchased NB exclusively for decades now and expect to continue forever.

They're the only shoe that comes in my AA width size. And, they look and feel great!

Thanks to a Letter of Recommendation in The New York Times Magazine, I've been wearing New Balance 990s for my walking and running ever since. True story: one morning I woke up, and for some reason, I couldn't put much weight on one of my feet. I was wondering what I could use for a cane. Then I put on my 990s. My foot was fine. I got 20,000 steps that day.

It has become difficult to find 6E shoes in size 11.5 and I finally found them . The shipping was very quick 2 day delivery compared to the usual 5-10 business days. These shoes fit a little tighter than they did the last time I bought them but a great deal and lucky to have found these hard to find shoes. New balance shoes are the best shoes money can buy.

Unfortunately, I had to return the shoes because they were too tight. I have also been waiting for two weeks for my credit card to be reimbursed.
