Customer Reviews New Balance Made in US 990v5

These are, unequivically, the most comfortable sneakers for those with wide feet. Expensive ($200), but worth every penny. Have purchased these every couple of years for decades, relegating the older pairs for everyday walking, using the new ones for the gym. Had to wait close to a year for them to become available, so be aware of the supply chain factor (even though they're assembled here in the states).

I need a lot of support in my left foot. Also need room for my orthotics. The 990 gives me both. I am able to wear them all day with absolutely no issues.

The shoes are great. Very comfortable and supportive. Delivery was quick and easy. I enjoy them very much

Everyday use, fit comfortably and light with good arches

I use the product to walk in, run in, exercise in. I have owned about 5 pair in the last 6 years. I got started because the Sketchers I was wearing to walk in were causing corns on my feet. The New Balance 990 resolved the corn issue and relieved my foot pain. They are more expensive but worth it.

My old New Balance were size 14 6e ( 2w). I ordered the 990v5 in a 13 4e (w). They fit perfectly. Very comfortable.

Had an issue with my feet. This sneaker worked perfectly.

The New Balance 990v5 is a quality and very comfortable athletic shoe that I have been wearing for many years in size 16 AA. In fact, NB is the only manufactured of an athletic shoe in that size. Please do not stop making it, especially in size 16 AA. Those of us who wear size 16 AA may be a small market, but we are totally on NB for a quality and well-fitting athletic shoe. Thank you.

It is extremely difficult to find 7 1/2 m wide shoe

I use them at work walking all day. My Lady Friend like the way they look. I am REALLY glad they are an American Product.

This is my 78 millionth pair of 990s (I may be exaggerating a bit, maybe 12-15 pairs?), and I love them. I get a new pair every year or so when my left knee tells me it's time to replace them, and they're great for running (5k 2-3 times per week), walking the dog, and for wearing out of the house most of the time. They're comfortable, provide great support, and they're made in the USA. I'm so glad that they come in multiple colors these days, rather than only putty gray like they used to.

Use it for work. Also another pair for exercise and yard work when it begins to wear out

Thank you L.L. Bean for carrying American made shoes. I agree with a previous review: worth every penny. So glad to have an option other than China or Mexican made. And, they are great shoes. I ordered a pair for my husband after I got mine.

I have been wearing this New Balance model for more than ten years. They are comfortable for jogging and are very durable.

This is the 1st pair of 990's I've ever owned, I've tried foe years to purchase a pair, but there has been a lack of supply in my size and width and i finally was to get a pair, I 1st got size 10 and had to return because they run a bit large and I then got a 91/2 which still has a little room, but all in all a better fit, the quality is top notch and all materials are premium . the cut of made in USA line tends to be better than foreign produced models , my only complaint is a shortage of black or blue and would have gotten a second pair if they were available .

I wear orthotics . I have a wide foot. I have a high instep. I do alot of walking. I am hard on my shoes. These shoes provide great comfort and support, and last at least 8 -12 months.

I have owned several pairs of these and similar high end Made in USA over the last twenty years. They really hold up.
