Customer Reviews New Balance Made in US 990v5

Fits great. Comfortable when sitting, walking, running, skateboarding, mild hiking and of course laying down. It's a bit of an investment but worth every penny. For someone who has semi-flat and semi-wide feet, these shoes are probably the greatest one so far. I also got these because I'm a new Dad, and for that reason, I am obligated to buy a pair of these. All the cool Dads wear these.

My sole purpose for purchasing the 990v5 is for walking. I found them very comfortable right out of the box. The quality is exceptional and stylish. Thank you New Balance for your craftmanship.

Right out of the box these fit like a glove. No break in required. Most shoes cramp my toes these don't. Great pair of quality shoes. I've owned New Balance before and knew what I was getting.

This is my husband's every day and do everything in this shoe. After a long out of stock status it became available. Our problem this time was the online order system allowed me to order the shoe only to find out the next day or so, it was actually unavailable. He has a very wide foot, so the sizing for him is very important. Time to find a way to make more shoes in a timely manner.

My husband loves these shoes. The higher the number the better he likes them.

I have serious foot and ankle issues. This shoe has great support and stability. Expensive but so far seems worth it.

This is my 3rd pair of NB shoes. Best foot ware. i have ever owned. Easley last two years with very heavy usage. Very good support for your feet. Very much worth the cost.

I've been buying these for the last 30yrs. Best shoe ever! My only beef is color selection. Blue, grey and black. At least offer the option in customization.

The 990 is one of two shoes that actually fit my feet. The mesh above the toe could be stronger, but whatever. Would be great to see that Olive green color in a XX Wide, though.

I'm an old guy who takes long walks and this shoe is perfect.

Wore Brooks for a long time and loved them but started to feel that they were a little too rounded on the bottom, every once in awhile causing a rolled ankle (never fun). Brooks also seems to have cheaped out about on their quality over the years. Decided to go with something with a little more firmness as I use these shoes for every from work to running/chasing my dog etc. So glad I did. Will likely buy another pair so I can switch them out after long use.

I wear a narrow (B) shoe and the 990v5 was listed as narrow. When I received the shoes, the narrow was actually a B width shoe and the fit was perfect. Great looking shoe and love the Made in US spec.
