I love the support this shoe gives my foot. Very comfortable.

The 990v5 looks good and the construction is very neat--there is no excess glue that oozed out of the outsole and there aren't little gobs or streaks on the uppers as well. The shoe really holds my foot in proper position and is quite comfortable. The laces could be longer is my only quibble.

Based on my podiatrist's recommendation (insistence) I've been wearing 990s for years. I wear them to work, to events, with suits and walking the dog. these are my daily-wear-shoes. I always get nervous when NB changes the 990s and releases a new version of the shoe ... I get nervous, but I'm never disappointed and version 5 is no exception. They feel and fit as I've come to expect NB 990s to feel and fit. They are great shoes and I'm very happy with my purchase.

It's everything Zi expected; I wear them as casual shoes. But, how do you apply your award points - I could determine this.

There not many shoes in a 6E Width, Size 9 1/2. These shoes are lightweight with support. Felt great and look good.

Great Shoes. They give me a lot of support. Everyday my goal is to get my 10,000 steps in my New Balance 990's.

These are good shoes. Even with my feet being a mess. Hard to find size 15

I use these as every day walk around shoes. They are extremely supportive of my knees and ba k.

I always get a little nervous when New Balance changes the 990's. I've been wearing them for years as my everyday shoes (podiatrist recommendation). But there's nothing to worry about with the 990v5. They are great. They feel great. They fit great. Style-wise, they are slightly different than the other versions ... But they fit very well, they fit the SAME as the other versions ... and that's the main thing I care about.

It is one of the ikonic shoes for New Balance. Fits well and wears well.

Bought 990's several years ago but went to 1260 for stability. I had noticed in recent years shoe last was dropping with 1260 getting only about 4 months. I went back to 990's because of stability claim and hoping Made in USA will get me more wear. Cost was a bit more than what I've been paying so if shoe last is about the same I'll be very disappointed.

Had the 990 V4 for a few years, and a good shoe. New Balance improved on it with the V5. Same great fit, but a better shoe I think. I like the solid one piece base. No more multiple layers of different materials. I think this is a better design. Same great fit. I got the all black version, no more white sole, so it looks sharp. I use it for walking and every day shoe and very happy with the V5 version, definitely better than the V4.

My favorite shoe. Outshines every other shoe I've ever worn! Made in the USA rocks !

I love these shoes!! It's been over 30 years since I owned a pair of New Balance. One reason is shoes being made in Red China, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Americans need to support hard-working Americans! Thank you, New Balance to keep Americans working!

I've purchased these shoes at least three times and plan another purchase in a month or two. New Balance offers the size he needs and the quality is great.

I do a lot of traveling. These are the only shoes I bring!

So far these are great for me the 6x wide are so nice the footbeds are also excellent
