I was hesitant buying shoes online. However, based on the quality of the three pairs of New Balance shoes I had bought in the past, I trusted I would not be disappointed. Very pleased. The entire process was seamless. Best of all, my 990v5's feel great.

do to my age I no longer jog so I use these sneakers for walking exercise. I have tried a few other brands and found them lacking after just a few weeks. this pair helps support my arches.

I was looking for a more durable running shoe to use for walking. Many of today's running shoes have very soft foam midsoles which seems to not be stable or durable. I orderdd the 990v5 directly from NB and they were shipped very fast. I have a slightly wider forefoot but the regular D width seem to fit fine after break in. I wish they had a little more ar h but I have a very high arch so I can adjust insoles.

I use the shoe for everyday walking and exercise. It's comfortable and light weight.

Love New Balance and have worn them for many years.

Comfortable, lasting and stylish. Think NB should advertise the made in USA. Shoes arrived on time.

I am walking approximately 8-11 miles a day. The 900v5 is the only shoe I will purchase. Buy American, the job you save may be your own.

Perfect fit for a foot that is hard to fit (long and narrow)

I have a high arch and wide feet, and these American made shoes work great. Great walking support. My legs are not easily tired anymore. Pricey, but worth every USD.

I bought these shoes for my son because the store where he usually buys his shoes is closed due to coronavirus. The model number was a little different, but they are pretty much the same shoes that he has been wearing. He has trouble finding shoes that work for him since he wears an 11 4E. I was surprised and pleased to find out that these shoes were considerably cheaper when purchased online rather than in the store. We will certainly buy them here again.

Working at a hospital, sometimes you have to be on your feet moving and pivoting and making sharp changes in direction for hours. So I used to have a rotation of sneakers I would wear depending on my duties at work. After wearing the 990v5, I literally cannot wear anything else, they're the right amount of cushion, support, and fit for anything I do. It takes some time to break in but once it does it fits perfectly. I've worn them daily for about 8 months straight and the outsole hasn't lost any tread, the suede has barely changed in quality, the stitching has yet to wear down. "Made in" editions are really the premium choice.

great support in the fit. lightweight and yet durable. this is my second generation of 990's. Again you need to offer more color selection for B width shoes

NB 990s are the gold standard. It has cured our plantar fascititis.

These are probably the most comfortable New Balance shoes I've ever bought although some of the Fresh Foam models like the 1080's or the 1165's come close, at a much lower price. Break-in was minimal taking maybe 3 or 4 hours of wearing at home. Though they are expensive, I think the 990v5's are worth it if you can afford them. They do feel somewhat roomier than a standard D width but that's subjective.

just a product that feels right. Its not too much of anything, nice sneaker.

These new balance shoes made in the USA are much more supportive and comfortable than those made in China. The laces are also much better. They are well worth the higher price.
