Walking and dress. Wish you offered in white. Had a pair in white before and they go with everything.

A well made comfortable shoe right out of the box.

I use it for walking every day, I am pleased with the product.

I use these for walking and other daily activities. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. This is my second pair.

I usually do not wear tennis shoes. However, my husband and daughter are great fans of New Balance Tennis Shoes. My husband bought me a pair of the 990v5 for my birthday and now New Balance has a new fan! My husband and daughter said they run about 1/2 size smaller, so he ordered the 5 1/2 and they are perfect!

Daily use.Walk & shop. I cannot ruin anymore, so I swim and walk.

My first on-line purchase from New Balance. All perfect. The running shoes came timely, well packaged and in excellent condition, brand new. Exactly the size and brand ordered. On-line purchase was efficient and fast. The photos and descriptions accurate.

I've been wearing 99* shoes for many years. I need a wide shoe "EE". Not many companies fit that bill. So I have stuck with NewBalance made in the USA SHOES. I have always found the 990 style the most comfortable shoe for me without exception. They wear well, look good and fit properly. As long as they keep making the 990 series, I will be buying them!

I have worn this shoe for many years. In my work, I have to do trade shows and must stand on concrete floors all day. Dress shoes did not give me any cushion or support. With the gray color, I found that I could get by with wearing them along with dress slacks and no one said a word. They are great in any kind of activity including long walks with my wife and our dog. Once a pair gets about a year or so on them, I switch to a new pair and wear the old ones to do yard work. A great multi-task shoe.

The 990v5 are comfortable and fit true to size, these are great shoes.

These are high-quality and great looking running shoes that I wear primarily with my casual clothes. I'm a tennis player, not a runner. These shoes give me the flexibility to run if I wanted to.

I have bought New Balance made in the USA for quite a few years and have been fully satisfied with the comfort, quality, and fit of these shoes. I have bought those made outside the USA and don't like their quality or comfort. Will only buy New Balance made in USA as long as they are available for purchase.

Have been wearing them for 10 plus years. Very comfortable good fit for my wide feet with high instep. I am on my feet at work 12 to 14 hours standing walking on a concrete floor

As a competitive dancer, I have very wide feet. This is the most comfortable shoe I have and can recommend it to others.

Fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Very well made and in the USA.

My first time purchasing a running shoe without trying it first, your sizing chart was accurate. Standard shoestring length should be shorter.

After having to return the first pair because of manufacturing defects, I am very happy with these 990v5's. The quality of construction seems superior. I'm switching from the Fresh Foam More v2 and these feel very much like an upgrade. These feel like they run about a half size bigger than normal. The sole especially feels like it will last longer than the 2 months I got out of the FFMv2's. They are heavier, and the upper is thicker and more padded, especially the tongue. Speaking of the tongue, its is a complete and 100% total turn off to have a giant American flag on the tongue. You don't even really see it in the advertisement photos. I am happy these shoes are made in the US, as a company you should be proud of that too. I can tell that because its already in the title of the shoe, and on the webpage, and the box they come in is a giant American flag. I really don't need a map of the US, a US flag, or other Made in the USA marketing symbolism on the shoe itself. Next time, put the NB on the tongue like the rest of your lineup and save the Made in the USA stuff for the box they come in. Seriously.

I have used the 900 series running shoe for many years. As a cardiac patient, I walk 3 to 4 miles, 4 or 5 days a week. Very comfortable and durable shoe.
