I expected the shoe to be a bit taller, but otherwise I have to say that I plan to get some real miles on them!

I enjoy wearing NB 574 and 997's, but I find every time I order the 997's I have to order a second pair or sometimes 3rd pair because they fit so different. I wear a size 11 and some pairs feel tight and some feel short but they're always a size 11. I know they're made in 2 or 3 different countries, but come on, you don't have anyone do some kind of quality controlI shouldn't have to keep purchasing and returning to get the proper fit.

but the tip of the shoe is slightly narrower than the 998s and 996s I tend to prefer which results in pain in my big toe. It's a shame because I love the design. I'll also note that while I usually get size 9, I had to get size 9.5; my toe actually touches the tip of the shoe with size 9s on this model. NB must be using a different Shoe Last to construct these

It uses a GCEVA foam. Not as comfortable as 997 or 997S, but lighter than both.

Main problems: 1. Glue around some seams! It's not visible for someone looking at your shoes, but most places where glue is used have glue traces outside. Not a premium touch. 2. Changed heel back form. Part of shoe where heel touches back has open space. It's very uncomfortable to run on toes, because it causes more forward movement. Especially for deformed foot. 574 and 515 models didn't have this space in heel controlling part before, had to switch since this space made them unwearable. 997h is best for long index and middle toes. Still, it can be made comfortable by some adjustments like wool pieces to the nose and special lacings. Overall, it's very good looking shoe. I think reflective coating is unnecessary and would be cool to see darker premium color options.

They probably need to be broken-in unlike other New Balance models I have purchased over the years. They are not the most comfortable New Balance shoe I have owned, but it is a cost effective shoe. The manufacturing of shoe seems like it is one solid piece, but clearly it had to be sewn to the tread. Not sure where I stand on this review. They may be better as time goes by. The Color scheme makes me think they were made for a College team.

I liked the style but it didn't fit quite right. They were uncomfortable.

I was excited for the shoe to arrive and have a new set of gym shoes. First time I wore them I noticed the red leather on the front was already weak or creased next to the big toe. Almost like something that you'd see develop after wearing them an extended period of time. Even then, none of my 574s have that even after wearing them for a year. May have been just this one pair with a weak spot in the leather, who knows? I'm not going to order another pair just to test it out.

The one shoe has a problem in the bottom u feel like u press something but is under the inside sole probably the stitching is bad .so is not comfortable when u walk.a another issue is the glue is very visible like cheap shoes also the materials look like cheap .I was expecting something better from a big company.they looking nice at least but for the money I pay I m not satisfied.

The shoe is small get next size up from what you use

These shoes were close to being wide enough for me. Felt like my feet were spilling out. Might be better for someone with feet not as wide as mine.

Shoes were used lightly, and only indoors yet suffered a seam coming undone one the top left shoe (near the big toe), which is a real shame because I really liked the look and feel of this pair, but can no longer wear them for fear of them falling apart...

Bad quality for price , the material looks cheap , do nit buy them
