Nice shoes and very comfortable for walking! There is a cheap plastic D ring with rough edges on the tongue that can scrape the front of your leg when wearing low cut socks. I would recommend removing it, but it's a minor inconvenience for a great shoe.

I got these shoes primarily because i wanted shoes that was i could walk in comfortably while expolring the city during the summer and they were great. Quite comfy, with no real compromise.

First pair of New Balances I've owned. As a size 15, they fit very nicely & aren't too bulky of a shoe. Also love the color style. Looking for another pair soon

I really like 997H for the fit, value and easy cleaning sole. The sole has wide groves which makes cleaning mud off bottom easy. Keeps wife happy

I think these are my first pair of New Balance shoes and I have to say I am loving them. I usually prefer Nikes, but that is because that's what I wore growing up. As I've gotten older and have had some foot issues, these shoes have been a pleasant surprise. The cushion and support on this shoe is next level. Also this particular colorway is really cool, the gray/blue/red and it kind of looks like the Air Max 1 shoe. Good job.
