I really really wanted to love these. The fabric is so soft and they didn't feel like they were cutting off my thighs at the leg openings. I ordered a size small, which is always what I wear in tights and the waistband opening is so narrow I could barely get it over my butt. I heard some ripping. For reference, I'm 5'7', 140 lbs, and have an athletic figure. I had to return them, which made me really sad because they look and feel amazing. I think if I went up to a medium, they'd be too big. What a bummer.

I love these on! They are so comfy and soft. However, pulling them up and down is always a struggle. The waist band is not very stretchy at all and I have ripped the seam multiple times trying to get them over my butt. I also don't have a very large bum, so if you do maybe size up. The seam has already ripped and I have a few holes in the waist band which is sad because I have only worn them 5 times. I am 5'7" and 135 lbs and got small.

So I would say that I love these shorts and did get them in a few colors. But, then I went biking and had no where for my phone- no back slit which would have been ideal or side pocket (only seem to have that in black). Found it ironic that they are called biker shorts and I had to switch between putting my phone down the leg of the shorts which did not work and in my bra until a bump in the road made it fly. So frustrating and made the almost perfect go to short, best material just rank in the middle. Sigh! Guess I have to stick to the yoga pants in spacedye

I'm going to echo the reviewer below who said she's 5' 4" and 122 lbs and the small barely fit her. Lanky 5' 6" 130 lbs here, measurements between the 'xsmall' and 'small' category on the sizing chart, but could not get the waistband past my narrow hips. The legs seem to fit my thighs well, but I wasn't going to risk ripping anything by tugging on the waist. Will be returning. I have a feeling a medium might make it past my hips, but the thighs will be loose, which isn't the point of biker shorts. Confused by this one.

So my first pair of these were amazing! The customer service is awesome since my package was opened the first time around. When I received my first pair of spacedye, I gave it 5 stars. I loved it so much that I decided to order a second pair literally right after. I just received my second pair and washed it before trying it on. The second pair was terrible. The stitching on the top of the waist band had absolute no stretch for some reason as if it was the incorrect stitching so when I tried it on, all I heard was breaking threads. I'm so sad in the quality of my second pair but it's too late to return it since I washed it and threw away all of the packaging. My first one is amazing! Now I'm debating on whether I should continue to buy more in different colors because of the quality control.

I don't know what happened with these shorts. I probably have 10 leggings and bike shorts from this brand and I've never had a problem. The stitching at the top of the waist band has no stretch so when I put them on, all the threading broke. Otherwise they are perfect like all of my other shorts and pants.

The green color is not neon green, it’s more of a seasame street green trying to be neon green. Comfortable and fit like the other items from this brand.

I love beyond yoga and have quite a few pairs of their leggings & bike shorts. These are horrible. The rise is SO high. I’m 5’7 and have a longer torso but these came up about an inch below my bra line. I did a 30 min yoga class in them and they were rolling down the entire time. It was pretty frustrating. The color is gorgeous though and if you just want them for the style, they may be okay!

I love these shorts and own them in 2 other colors but this Silver color has 2' longer inseam so they hit at a weird, unflattering place on your thigh. The description says 7' inseam but I've returned and received a replacement for a second time and they were both 9' long. Sadly returning them for good.

I'm 5,2' and the waist was way too high. I usually wear high waisted shorts, pants, leggings, but this just looked silly and was uncomfortable because of where the waist sits. Such a bummer because the material is so soft and the colors are perfect. Please make petite sizes!

I love the color and Spacedye material of these shorts but I found the pink shorts too sheer. I tried on 3 different pairs of underwear with the shorts and you could see all three of them, so I decided to return the shorts.

I bought the navy ones last year and have worn probably 15 times. Took them out today to wear this summer and the seam is coming apart. I launder per instructions always. The seams on Beyond clothes have never done this in the 10+ years I've been buying their clothes. Disappointed these didn't last longer b/c I usually have their leggings for 5plus years. :-(

Weird fit. Wanted to love these, but the waistband has some kind of non-stretchy thread in it-- I was worried it was going to snap when I tried them on. Once I finally (carefully!) got the waistband over my butt, it came up above my bellybutton and rolled down awkwardly. Returning.

I love all things spacedye but these missed the mark for me. I'm not sure if they are different but my others have held up awesome. These however, have holes in them and haven't held up. Not a big deal for at home but I would like to wear them to yoga class.

These shorts are so beautiful and so soft! I bought 2 pairs and am so sad to say that both ripped right after putting them on. The shorts are not stretchy on the waist so they don't stretch when trying to pull them over your hips. I wish the waist was stretchy like the rest of the shorts. :(

Because the waist tapers in, if you have any sort of hips or butt, you will not tear the seem pulling them on which completely ruins the quality of the shorts. I will have to send these back and I guess it's back on the hunt for the perfect shorts I thought I had found! Very disappointing!

2 stars solely based on the fit for my body. I am a small in everything and sometimes and xs, but these made me feel like I needed a large. The seam at the waistband was SO tight I could barely get them over my bum and the thigh seam dug into my legs as well :( I have 3 of the slim racerback cropped tanks AND I LOVE THEM! I was so excited to have the whole matching outfit, but these just hit my body in all the wrong places. The fabric is also pretty thick and just not a slimming look. Remove waist band seam and make with a lighter fabric! Love this brand but these were a no for me.
