These shoes are spectacular. I was just diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis (right foot). I was planning on putting either arch or heel supports in these shoes. No need. They are excellent. Last night, I ordered a few more pairs of Oboz (similar, but different styles). Can't wait to get them (should be tomorrow). Besides being supportive, they're also VERY stylish. I can't say enough positive things about them. Oh...and Zappos is THE BEST!!!

Much more comfortable than Keen Targhee III, wider in toe box, secure heel and great arch support.

These shoes have been great for me. I’ve had plantar facitis and needed special arch support in other shoes. I wear these daily for hiking and walking. I don’t need the extra support with these shoes. I’m on my third pair. Each pair has lasted over 12 months, wearing reasonably and evenly in the lining, tread, and arch support. Each new pair has made my feet happy again! I wish they were more stylish. Love that they come in wide width!

This is my second pair. They work - better than any other style or brand. Wide foot. Highly recommended. Wear them all day every day except high summer when I'm not hiking - otherwise they are my go-to shoe.

The boots were a little narrower than the ones (same size/width) I tried on in the store. But they seem to be stretching out a bit, and otherwise fit well. Good arch support and workmanship. Happy with the purchase.

So far a great shoe. Ordered a size 8 but had to size up to an 8.5. Once I got the right size, the shoes were immediately comfortable and fit my arch perfectly. Walked the dog in the snow and slush and they are definitely waterproof. Can't wait to try them on some longer hikes.

Yup I love these shoes. I get a size up so I can take the liner out and add my orthotic. That works well.

Oboz Sawtooth II 7.5 “wide” compares to Merrell Moab 2 - 7.5 “regular” (currently wearing and need wider width). Both are quality design, style, construction, support. The tread on Oboz is more knarley and deeper. Will try next size up.

I wore Merrell's forever until they started shrinking their shoes and I have wide feet. I tried on a pair of Oboz a few years back in the size I wear from merrell as a wide. Not working because at the time Oboz didn't come in wide. So I went up half a shoe size and what really caught my attention was they way these babies grab the back of your ankle!!! So even though I needed to go up half a size because of the lack of wide shoes, the way these are built and the way they grab the back of the ankle I can wear them all day and all night! Now, with that said, I wouldn't run a marathon in these because they are a tad heavy being waterproof and I LOVE that about them. I can hike through a creek and my feet are perfectly dry! So they grab the ankle just right, they truly are waterproof, and they lasted me a good two years and I hike easily 8-9 miles each hike and I hike about 3 times a week. Plus I wear these daily so they hold up pretty well. Amazing shoe

I have been wearing these shoes for several years and they are the best fit and support I have ever had. Before I found Oboz my hiking boots were my most comfortable footwear, now I even wear my Oboz on the mountain. I wear almost nothing else. I care about comfort, not about style. I would be cripple if I wore heels for more than an hour.

I like these hikers. I have wide feet but ordered regular width which are too tight. I usually wear size 9, wide. These are size 9.5, regular.

I liked them, but I sized up a half size, for hiking comfort.

I bought these shoes for traction on hills. Works perfectly. Arch support is great. Only drawback is that my feet get hot. But I’d say that’s to be expected with this type of shoe.

I am very happy with my Oboz Sawtooth II Low B-Dry hiking sneakers. I have somewhat narrower heel and wider toes, and the size 9M are just right for me. They are very comfortable, offering support both for walking on flat pavement or gravel and for hiking. I recommend highly.

This is a really comfortable shoe and felt pretty great right out of the box. As I have been breaking them in they are really forming to my foot and feeling even more comfortable. In particular I noticed the terrific arch support. I have typically purchased Keen hiking shoes and usually have to put my own orthotic in any shoes that I buy, but the existing footbed in the Oboz is very supportive and feels great. Of note, although I do not have a wide foot I purchased the wide version to give myself a little extra room as my feet swell with hiking and into the day. They seem to fit perfectly. I am looking forward to using these boots on a hiking trip to Colorado in August. This is my first pair of Oboz, and I am so glad I purchased these shoes.

These are a great outdoor work shoe. I am on my feet for long hours at a garden center where I work. These shoes keep my feet dry on rainy days. I bought a second pair of these in a different color because I like them so much. I wear them all year long. Normally I wear a 7.5 shoe, but with this shoe, I wear a size 8.

I use orthotics so can’t comment on support. I also have a very difficult time finding a waterproof shoe that is comfortable and not aggravate my bunions too much. After trying on many shoes this is the only one that I could tolerate for any length of time???

I got hooked on Oboz when I bought a pair of their winter hikers, then went on to buy summer hiking boots and now these. The Sawtooth design provides excellent traction, the toe. box is large for my wide feet and they are comfortable right out of the box. All three pairs provide excellent support, that I’ve now made them my default working shoe instead of sneakers. My favorite aspect of these is that my toes down jam into the toe box on downhills. I’ve had that issue with every other brand I’ve owned, but not these.
I can’t say enough good thinks about Oboz, I’m a convert and customer for life.

First time for Oboz. Taking them hiking to Scotland and Maine.. the tread feels aggressively the house but should be fine outside. I’m normally a 9 wide but Zappo suggestion was the correct sizing.

I tried three pairs of Keens (meh to these could work), and one Anhu/Teva (nope), and these. These won hands down. They had the comfort that I have in my old Anhu hikers, and feel both secure and roomy enough at the same time. It's off to England with my new friendz O and Bo.

I am purchasing the Oboz Sawtooth II as a hiking/backpacking shoe. They are extremely comfortable and have excellent flexibility. The shoe laces are substantial and allow tightening or loosening the shoe to gain a more custom fit. The insole has a good heel cup for stability, arch support ,and some padding for "cush", but is removable if you desired to use your own custom orthotics. I purchased a 1/2 size larger than my usual shoe size for added toe room to prevent any chance of my toes jamming against the front of the shoe on downhill treks. I wear a lightweight wool hiking sock. These shoes weighed a full pound less than my current Asolo hiking boots. When purchasing these shoes, I also purchased a Salomon X Ultra 3 GTX for comparison of fit and comfort...the Salomons were returned.

This is clearly a well made boot, so I was sorry it didn't work out for me - it would have been a great hit had it fit. It was tight in the toe, wide from the midline back, and the tongue and sides at the back of the shoe dug in to my ankle bone.
