Really enjoying these shoes. Despite reviews mine fit true to size. Great option if you're looking for an "upscale"-looking sneaker.

I have owned and been satisfied with many pairs of Born shoes over the past 10 years. Unfortunately, this pair has not measured up. The fit is true and the leather is of good quality, but the construction is woeful. After 8 months the uppers of both shoes began separating from the soles in multiple locations. At 10 months, they are nearly unwearable. The uppers are stitched to the outsole 360°, but the stitching is terrible unravels from the inside. These are nowhere near the quality of previous Born shoes and hopefully not the new normal for the brand. I'll probably look elsewhere for my next pair of brown casual shoes.

look and feel great but you'll wear a hole through em in 6 months tops. gotta stop buying em.

Looks good, felt good to wear when walking…stitching in the outside of the shoe failed after less than a year—mind you 2020 wasn’t a normal walking year, I’d say the stitching failed after 30% normal use

The shoes look great, but I experienced the same thing as another reviewer — severe pressure/pain at the Achilles. They also do run large. If I had tried my normal size they would have been too big. I tried a half size down and a full size down as recommended by other reviewers, but they were just not comfortable to wear so I returned them.

A great looking sneaker that came apart after 3 months. So I ordered another pair, which came apart after three months. Wow.

No, no, no, not sure why they did it but the heel slit tears your feet up. Impossible to wear.

Size fit pretty well but a bit snug, support was pretty good. I really like the style/design of this shoe. It's a great shoe to wear with jeans. I like it so much that I also purchased the same shoe in light brown.

Unbelievable comfort! My feet always hurt in new shoes until broken in, but not these! They feel comfortable and broke-in even upon the first wearing. I am truly impressed!

One of my favorite pairs of shoes due to their versatility and style. Can easily wear as business casual as you can also wear with a pair of jeans. Comfortable too

Shoes are super comfortable. I like that they’re quality leather, so I can toss some polish on em and get a good shine.

This is a good-looking casual shoe that also seems to be made well of quality leather. It fits nicely and so far provides comfortable walking.

I liked these so much I wore them out and am buying a replacement pair today. Born shoes are very comfortable and stylish.

I like the shoe's style and the materials used to produce it. Appears to be well constructed and I hope they hold up over time. Seems comfortable right out of the box. I would say this model is a good value. I take a US 13 and this size seems to run small from many manufacturers but the Born Allegheny fits me fine which may mean it could actually run a bit large for some.

The recommended shoe size from Zappos fit perfectly, and indeed, large for its size, similar to how Vans Era run about a size bigger than true size. Surprisingly nice and comfortable!

I'm so thrilled to find these shoes that for my wide forefoot so well and also work with orthotics. I ordered a 12 in Taupe Full Grain and the color is true to the Zappos pictures (but not Amazon's!?). My feet are wide across the toe but not at the heel so it always feels like I'm compromising. I typically wear Keen or Altra in a 12, or New Balance in 11.5EE. There is a little extra length at the toe, but the width is perfect and if it was shorter it would affect the proportions. The included memory foam insoles are too flat for my arches, but they are nice and thick - approx 1/2" at the heel and 5/16" at the toe. this means there is plenty of room to swap them out with my Sole Active Thick insoles (in other shoes I have to use thin). I bought these for office and casual wear. they look dope with a pair of dark jeans, and I think they will do well at my work.

My husband really likes the fit and style of these shoes. True to Born, they are a comfortable shoe.

I loved the shoe. It was very stylish with leather uppers and the color was perfect but unfortunately they were too narrow and after trying to Make them fit, alas! I had to return them.
