Why the low rating? TravelPro's non functioning customer service. It was abysmal. Customer service (or lack there of it) removed any confidence in TravelPro as a reputable company and destroyed the joy of receiving birthday gift luggage. Birthday gift purchased to replace 15+ year old luggage. The bag is lightweight and well constructed. Single wheels a drawback but with the warranty WAS willing to try based on TravelPro's reputation for quality if more expensive luggage than other well known brands in that price point. Ordered three bags; only one delivered. Reached out to Customer Service by phone for an update. NO option to speak to a human. Voice recording stated insufficient staff and disconnected the caller. Online chat and emails provided formulaic answers to unasked unrelated questions and solutions that were not helpful, customer friendly and comical. What resolved the issue was a firm polite email to TravelPro providing 3 solutions to resolve the order. Within 24 hours received the missing two suitcases. Cannot recommend TravelPro luggage no matter how good, based on this experience. Have NO faith in the warranty based on experience ordering the luggage.

Very disappointed. It smells like formaldehyde even after letting it air out for a week. I'm leaving on a trip so I'm double plastic bagging everything inside so I don't end up with smelly clothes. Tried calling you for suggestions only to get a recording to go to website. Everything I try on the website takes me back to FAQ's. I will definitely never buy from you again, and tell friends about my horrible experience!!

First use and the case is completely coming apart. As we are still on vacation, a replacement or refund will be needed.

When I took this suitcase out of the box I could immediately tell it was too small. I measured the interior height at 22.5 inches, 2.5 inches smaller than what is listed on their website. The width was also smaller than listed. I was forced to return the suitcase - very frustrating, I as i was hoping this one would be the same size as my old suitcase.

I have used TravelPro for over 30 years and was always satisfied!!! I used this latest purchase for the first time to travel to Chicago from DC. The corner of my bag was smashed and the crinkle will not rebound. It is ruined from one airline trip!

I initially loved the purchase and was happy that I bought my nice Travepro luggage. But then the barrage of text messages and emails from you started. Each time you send a text message and email, my impression of Travelpro lowers and I begin to regret the purchase. Please stop. I haven't even had a chance to use my new luggage yet, and not I have a bad feeling about a purchase that initially made me happy.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. We bought 2 of the Maxlite 5 25 inch. Traveled on a private chartered jet. By the time we got home, both of are handles are stuck. Had many other brands of luggage. By far the worst.

I ordered 3 pieces. Only 2 arrived. They don't answer the phone and they don't return emails.

The entire suitcase smelled like Formaldehyde and chemicals. I was asthmatic the first 5 days in my Apartment. Now I am airing out on my roof deck for the past week. I also put coffee beans and baking soda in a bag inside the suitcase. I am hoping the smell goes away before I leave for my trip.

I cannot get the lift handle down in the luggage I can not fix it and need to either repair or send back need your help

Just bought the bag and on the first use, the handle is stuck up. Feels cheap and evidently is. I'm in Europe and now need to buy a new bag. I've bought several TravelPro bags for me and my family but not again. Can't take on planes, trains, buses. Even difficult using a taxi. I'll try Brics this time.

Had to return because of strong chemical odor. Bought another brand instead.

I wouldn't know if it is nice. I received a 21 inch carry on bag instead packed in a box with a sticker for the 25" check in bag. My son flew off to Europe with his old luggage and now I have to go through the hassle of a return. Ugh.

After just one trip, the telescoping handle will not go down. Very disappointing for luggage we were hoping to use for years. Now we will return it and start researching luggage again.

Used one time Sunday, handle is broken! Just got home, you'll be hearing from me!

Back of the item had a piece of the internal plastic poking out. Very disappointed, not sure how that could make it past quality control.

Zipper pull on external pocket came off during first usage. Very disappointing.
