I am having trouble getting rid of the odor from manufacturing. I was told by support to try charcoal overnight. I'm going on 4 days and there is still an odor.

Disappointed, quality was a little on the cheap side. Cutbacks on the strap pockets to hold your cloths in place and bag just did not have that durable feel I'm used to with Travelpro. I do realize it is probably due to the light weight. I will continue to purchase the regular cases. Thank you

Its light which is nice. Its roomy and fits everything I needed for a 2 week trip with packing cubes. I would have liked two outside pockets instead of just the one big one, where things just flop around. It got pretty banged up on two flights only, we shall see about its durability.

Nicely spacious. Wheels & zipper seem fragile - not as sturdy as price would indicate, color not as shown on website.

I purchased these because in addition to being quality I had been searching for some pink luggage. Salt these are definitely purple//lilac so I will be returning

Purchased as a gift, have not yet used. Good delivery, excellent customer service when item was misplaced in delivery. I would certainly consider this company in future

Suitcase was amazingly light, and 4 wheels an improvement over two. Suitcase seemed to be not quite solid enough, compared to my old Traveloeo which has been excellent, so decided to return it.

I didn't think the fabric on the bottom of my Maxlite5 would tear on its first trip but it did. I've had luggage for 20 years without having an incident and now I've got a hole in the bottom which will only get bigger.

There was a very strong chemical odor from the luggage piece even after a week of airing it out
It's a shame because I otherwise liked it

This was to replace my Maxlite 4 and is a considerable downgrade. The single wheels and the lack of a plastic lined internal pouch for any items that might leak is a disappointment. Furthermore, there was a very strong plastic smell in the bag and is lingering still after even a week of being opened to air out.

Failed to hold up well through international airports. The fabric buckled and the retractable handle doesn't work which means I won't be able to use this suitcase again. Very disappointing and dissatisfied. Not up to Travelpro standards. Will think twice before I buy another TP product.
Color is good, storage capacity for its size is adequate.

I was so excited to replace my brick of a Tumi suitcase with something lighter. Most of a three week trip through Spain I thought I had made the right decision. So much lighter. Then towards the end, the telescoping handle stopped working! Seems like it's bent. Not a durable suitcase.

I absolutely loved it when it arrived packed it for my first trip and loved the ease of how it rolled and handled. When returned from flight handled wouldn't extend up and down without a struggle so returned it .

I just purchased this piece of luggage and after the picking up the luggage on my first trip, the handle gets stuck while raising and lowering it. It can still be raised and lowered but it takes two hands and it is not easy anymore. This has happened on a previous piece of TravelPro luggage I own but not after the first trip.

I used my brand new piece on 4 flights before the fabric tore. Says it is abrasion resistant but expected WAY more. I know airlines are rough but only 4 flights before it rips? I just switched from a 15+ year old Samsonite and am sad I did at this point.

The fabric ripped after just one round trip flight. I know the airlines are rough but would expect the fabric to be stronger and hold up better. Switched from a ten plus year old Samsonite to TravelPro and wish I would've bought another Samsonite.

After owning a Travelpro Platinum roller carry-on for many years, I had high expectations for this luggage, but the "Maxlite" is clearly not well built. I bought this model over others because of the "powerscope" handle, and that broke after one flight. The handle bent and broke after the wheels caught on a crack in the pavement outside the airport, something that never has happened in the 5+ years of owning the platinum carry-on. First, the handle bent like it was made from a coat hanger, then when I attempted to un-bend the handle into the upright position, the entire extended handle snapped off in my hand, rendering the handle worthless for the remainder of our two week trip. Further inspection after our trip revealed frayed corners and the bottom bumper nearly fallen off. Disappointed is an understatement. I hope the product's warranty is good, but honestly I don't want the handle repaired (which would be impossible) or another of the same-- I want something that won't break on the first trip.

Disgusting smell inside the case from the internal lining made of recycled plastic bottles. Ugh. Intolerable odor. I certainly don't want to pack my clothing in smelly luggage. I returned the bag.

I recently used my new suitcase for a domestic trip and upon arrival, I noticed that my clothes had a bad smell. It's difficult to characterize the smell, but it's a bit like cigarette smoke. I hadn't noticed the smell in the suitcase initially, but it's definitely noticeable when I put my nose up against the material in the interior of the suitcase. I've tried leaving it open for a few days to let it air out, and when that didn't eliminate the smell, I tried putting a box of baking soda inside it. When that didn't work, I tried gently spraying it with Febreze, but it still has a bad smell. I plan to either donate this suitcase to charity or throw it in the trash and buy another brand for an upcoming trip to France.
