I bought this bag as a replacement for another TravelPro. I wish it was an inch wider, but I understand the restrictions by the Government. It is a good mid-priced bag, but if I had one knock on it (and previous TravelPro bags) it would be the zippers. They do not operate smoothly and the pull has a tendency to break off. My wife is a flight attendant so over the years, we have had many TravelPro products and it is always the zippers that are the weak spot. That being said, I travel every week, so maybe I expect too much.

This is a great suitcase. Very well made with quality written all over it. Double riveted handle, (which I like very much), heavy duty zippers, handles and outer
material. I see it as a 1 night case for a woman, probably 2 or 3 night case for a man. I has several compartments for specialty items, such as a removable 3-1-1 TSA compliant clear bag. It also has a compartment for a power bank that connects to an outside USB port. Personally, it is not something I would use, but I can see how it would appeal to a business traveler. It says expandable, but I would not call it fully expandable. It unzips to expand on 3 sides, in a kind of triangular shape. It will give you a bit more room, but not much. When you open the case, the lid side has a fold out section for longer clothing. You then tri-fold it. It was a bit confusing because it has snaps, and a zipper. A little awkward for me. You can remove the folding board feature, and use this as it's own compartment. Although the wheels are smooth and easy to roll, this is not a spinner case. My thought is that this would be a superb case for a man or a business traveler. It would work well for those overnight business trips. Not enough space for a woman's needs. All in all, this is a great little travel case.

Happy with the interior layout and exterior soft side material. Very disappointed with the zipper quality as two zippers have already started to separate under relatively minor strain, especially at the corners.

This is my very first carry on and I only used it once so I really have no reference point although it would be helpful for first timer like me to know what are all the pockets and features for. I can figure out some but not others.

The wheels were not clearly defined. I can only pull this one and not push. So I need to return, how can you get someone from Travel pro live on the phone?

Very attractive bag. Wheels work well. Zippers are a little tight around the corners; I'm wondering how long they will last. The hanging clothes section does not zip out completely like my last Travelpro. The bag handle intrudes into the interior of he case as do the bars for the handle. This takes up storage space.

Does a terrible job with the hanging clothes - totally wrinkled and unwearable. My older model was far superior to this model.

I am a Hugh fan of this bag and its design. This is probably my fifth one. Unfortunately, someone decided to decrease the suites zipper opening and shorten the external pockets where I put my toiletries. I am 6'5 and have a 44' jackets and the new suiter is narrower causing me to fold/wringer them ( and shirts) when I place them in the bag. You also deleted the mid suiter strap to hold the clothes in place. The toiletries barely fit with extra force and angling the contents. I'll use the bag as I don't have a better option for US travel. After one US trip, I broke out my Tumi International carryon for my current trip to Europe.
Unfortunate that your designer didn't get Voice of Customer before making change. Probably OK for anyone under 5'5" tall and narrow of stature.

Love the quality. I purchased this to replace an older and well travelled Travelpro carry on that needed a wheel replacement. While the web site dimensions indicated similar external dimensions, I measured and the external dimensions are a full inch smaller in all directions. The folding mechanism extends well into the bag, taking up space, resulting in considerably less internal space to pack. The front pockets are more limited also. Currently carrying with another case on a three week business trip. I frequently used my previous bag for full week business trips, This smaller bag may be too small for a full week. Time will tell but I anticipate having to look for another bag for my single week business trips.

Outside zipper of top compartment stuck when first packing. I managed to coax it open.
For my purposes, the product is over-"engineered": I don't need the power cord; the clear plastic zippered-in pouch; the divider with the padded tube sleeve; or the attached zipper side pouch.
It has one more trip to earn its price.
I may return it.

It's a solid bag. I just didn't realize that it isn't a spinner until after first use. Bummer.

The handle assembly is thicker internal to the suitcase and takes up more room inside. It should have been made flatter. In addition. It would have been nice if the auiter could be removed if sometimes not needed as in older versions. It does have more room than the spinner but also looks slightly smaller than older versions due to the bottom feet and position plus size of the wheels.

The suitcase is well built but some changes from my TravelPro version 9 i dont like. Why are the front pockets so small now? you can put anything in them.
why does the built in net for dirty clothes zip open to the bottom now instead of the top-makes clothes fall out when you close the top of the suitcase...and it just doesnt seem as big as my previous one....disappointing overall for the price paid

A few too many compartments and wish I would have waited for the version with four wheels instead of two, but it was sold out and I needed a new piece of luggage on the quick.

I upgraded because I love Travelpro, and always buy Travelpro, but the zippered inside section on the lid of the suitcase zips upside down. So when the suitcase is sitting on a stand, with the lid open and leaning on a wall, the zipper opens on the bottom, closer to the inside of the suitcase. This makes no sense to me and makes the zippered lid less usable. It's too bad because I really like the brand in general. It's very durable and an excellent size for domestic carry on.

I've used this suitcase on a few business trips ranging from overnight to 3 days. It's a solidly built bag with and I think it would hold up well with frequent travel even if you were forced to check the bag. Keep in mind that with the integrated USB port you'll need to remove the battery if you do check the bag.
I think it would be more user friendly if it were offered in a spinner model. The wheels roll nice, even through the few airports that have large areas of carpeting. Zippers operate very smoothly even when the bag is stuffed. For my weekly travel there's a couple of features I'd like to see changed. This bag is almost perfect for a quick overnight business trip but you could fit more items if the pull handle wasn't mounted on the inside of the bag. The tracks the handles travels through take up a lot of space inside the case. You can overcome it somewhat if you're a traveler who rolls their clothes rather than use packing cubes or if you simply fold them. Also, though it's listed as an expandable, you don't get a complete expandable top. The expansion zipper only goes part way around to allow more of a bulge than a true 1-2" complete expansion of the lid. Overall it's a nice bag but you'll need to plan your packing to accommodate the loss of space due to the extension handle housings located inside.

The zipper on one of the front pockets is broken, the other one is rough to open and close. Also the material stains easily.

Right out of the box, this feels and looks cheap and shoddy. I've had another TravelPro piece of luggage with a built-in suiter/garment bag that is amazing. This is not. The "suiter" is an absolute joke. The zippers do not open smoothly and seem like they'll break. The jagged metal screws holding the handles on - what were you even thinking! It's all terrible. Just awful.

So to take as a "carry on, " you really have to carry it down the isle of the plane because it won't swivel. Bad purchase. Go with a carry on that has four wheels!
