I bought this pair with a pair for my wife. Looked good. Received them after 15 days. No email or any communication about shipping. Wear them for a half hour the other day and the socks from white now are blue. Not very impressed with this. Total disappointment.

With every single step with these shoes you will hear plop. Plop, plop, plop,...

Just be aware if you order "cinder." These colors don't appear to match what's on the site.

Bought online to walk Camino Frances on the back of excellent reviews. Encouraged to walk-in to become accustomed to fit. After 4 (5mile walks) shoes offer insufficient arch support. Very narrow design so be careful. I usually wear Merrell which are wider and support the full width. Too late to return as obviously now a used item so will have to purchase a different shoe for the 500 mile walk in Spain.

I really love the look of these shoes. I purchased a pair to go to Kathmandu with. The first 20 minute walk in the rain with an umbrella yielded completely soaking wet socks. The odors retained by the materials of the shoe are quite overwhelming. I have never had this problem with shoes in the past. Plastic shoes that are highly vented with a mesh material and a Gore-Tex lining that becomes brittle after becoming wet numerous times. Very disappointed in the quality and the execution of these issues. Perhaps Arc'teryx will find a better material to use that will be more appropriate for this type of shoe. 8 months use and I had to throw them away due to them just getting too nasty to wear.

Last week I purchased these shoes specifically for a rugged and wet adventure. Over the course of the week I put the shoes to the test and they performed very well, providing great traction, comfort and waterproofness.
I often have difficulties finding a good fit, and the mid width footbed with the snug fitting heelbox was a great match!
While wiping down the shoes post trip I made a very unfortunate discovery, on the outside of the shoe near the pinky toe, the sole had begin to separate from the shoe body.
I am hoping that this is just a one off problem however such an issue after such a short period of use means that I cannot provide a rating any greater than poor.
Hoping that my next pair of shoes can stand the test of time.

These shoes are terribly uncomfortable. It's too narrow and the arch support is excess and in the wrong place. I usually buy neutral pronation shoes and these shoes are not for my feet.

Normally I'm huge fan of Arcteryx, but this one is a disappointment.
After a few hours in shoes - Achilles part of foot starts to annoy.
This never happens with any other shoes I wear.

I bought those shoes a little more than a month ago. I used them in Thailand during a few days (very very soft trekking).
The top of the right shoe (the hard part) unguled itself from the nylon fabric after a few days. Due to this, the Gore-tex layer is not very useful since water can go in the shoe directly. I am an old Arcteryx customer and am very disappointed by the quality of those shoes. Apart from that, I find them very comfy and I love the sole. Just sad the quality can be trusted.

I think is the the most non comfy shoe I ever had , very expensive , wrong made size wise . I ordered 10.5 as I usually wear , was a way bigger , I returned and ask for 10 size . After I wear it around for a while I noticed a lot of pressure even I was in those shoes for just few hours , long enough but too narrow . My foot is athletic , not flat , normal size 10.5 . Very non comfortable , size wise out , not recommended , and very expensive nonsense . Stay away
