Purchased as a warranty for shoes that were falling apart. These fit well and have kept my feet dry in a moderate rain. So far, so good!

I bought this shoe as an all round shoe to wear during the wet, rainy winters we get on the west coast of Canada. I have worn them on trail hikes with my dog as well as some quick hikes up more rugged terrain bordering on technical. These have easily been some of the best shoes I have ever purchased. Firstly, they really are waterproof. I have worn them on trails that get flooded and have stayed dry. A word of warning, the low profile of the upper allows for splashing and getting a wet sock, so avoid deep puddles or splashing. Secondly, the sole is not overly aggressive as to pick up mud but has excellent grip. I rarely lose footing on reasonable terrain. I have seen reviews about the material cracking where they flex but I have not experienced this and cannot see it happening without abuse and normal wear. I highly recommend this shoe for an all around comfort and supportive walking shoe. Also for light day hikes without carrying too much weight. I have even worn for short trail running. One thing is sure, I will buy another pair.

Initial impressions were around how light, sturdy, and good looking they are. So far I've hiked w them in the mountains, desert, and snow. Merciless grip, dry or wet and stay super dry inside. Have walked on ice without slipping; it was an interesting feeling.
Warmed my feet over campfires with no melting. I accidentally found out these are pretty great trail runners after forgetting my SG4s.
When I wear super thick wool socks they're quite snug, but that tells me they're not easily blown out. Just like any other shoe, order a half size up if you always wear thick socks.
I throw them in the washer and they come out looking brand new. These are just straight badass.

I loved these shoes right out of the box. They are really comfortable and suitable for all day use. I walk a lot during the day and needed a shoe that would be functional in colder, rainy, snowy, urban and rural environments. It's a tall order for a shoe but the Aerios pulls it off. First of all, this shoe absorbs shock. I walk all day in these shoes and still have happy feet at the end of the day. Next, they seem to mysteriously fit my wide foot. This may have something to do with the lacing system providing added adjustability for width. Last, I needed something that didn't look like a running shoe, and this was it; no neon and lateral instability. This shoe is stable, looks good and won't let you down if you're putting in longer days on your feet.

been using these now for a month and they great. Have always bought Salomon in the past so this my first pair of arcteryx.
These feel durable and are constructed well. However, did require a break in period and the do run a bit on the narrow side.

My first Arcteryx footwear. I am impressed with this pair of hiking shoe. Very comfortable. I barely have time to break in the shoe before my long 11 hour hike. I was worried that it might give me blisters. But the shoe was very comfotable all the way till the end of my hike. And the traction on the trail was good too. I felt confident with my hike.

I purchased these shoes 2 weeks ago to do the Brazeau Loop in Jasper. I've always been a boots guy (most recently the Bora 2 GTX and Tecnica Forge GTX) but regardless of boot quality, lacing, sock layering, taping etc... I always get heel blisters. Well, no more. Almost 100 km on these shoes with a 40 lb pack and I didn't get a single hot spot or blister. The shoes took almost no wear in period. They are comfortable out of the box, the water resistance is excellent, they clean off well (and dry fast too) and I genuinely didn't miss the ankle support of boots. There was no heel slippage. The only place it was a bit sketchy using them was on a steep scree slope coming down from Jonas shoulder. Only strange thing is I was sure the color I was purchasing was blue upper with a rubber-coloured sole, but they showed up closer to green with a reddish sole. Happy to recommend these. I bought them a half size larger than usual just to handle the downhills with a pack and I had no worries. Will definitely get another pair when these wear out.

These shoes are wonderful. I bought them for hiking and light trail running and they've not disappointed. The only hang up I had was a bit of sizing confusion. I typically wear a women's 9.5, and a men's 8 is usually perfect or even slightly large - which is preferable for being active in most cases. However, the 8 in these was incredibly tight and small. I would recommend going up a half size.

I had to order these online an I'm not usually comfortable in doing so. But because my local store didn't have them stock and also because my size wasn't available in Howe sound blue for about 5 months. I jumped on them when they finally became available.
Delivery was very quick and well packaged. Was visually impressed with overall quality. I became unsure of my decision to buy online without trying them first as soon as I put the first shoe on. My toes were touching the ceiling of the toe box. Although the size was true it seemed like there wasn't enough height for my toes. After further inspection I did notice the insole was most likely to give room after usage and decided to keep the shoes... Glad I did!
These are by far the best hiking shoes I ever wore on trail. I've been wearing them now for 4months and walk roughly 600km in them so far.
Great grip, water resistant, dry quickly, light and comfortable. For the first few weeks I wore them only for short hikes-5km and as the insole started to shape to my foot it became obvious that these were a great shoe.
They are great in all terrain, city, trail, mud, incline etc. I recently used them on a 35km day hike to the top of the 6th highest peek of Vancouver island and they performed flawlessly. I'm still impressed to this day at their great lateral stability .
I would definitely recommend these shoes but allow time for breaking them in..

Awesome looking shoes and probably the best gripping soles I've tried on most surfaces. Took a few days to get the fit comfortable. Most of the Arc'teryx footwear seems to have a sweetspot for how tight and where you pull the laces, but once you find it they are great. (found the same with Norvan VT and Acrux FL)

I have only had them for a few weeks, but I love them. They provide all day comfort. The sole is a nice width to provide good stability. I haven't had an opportunity to utilize the GORE-TEX, but having had other Arc'teryx GORE-TEX shoes I am confident they will work. I have noticed that they can get extremely hot on my feet. I'm thinking about getting another pair that aren't GORE-TEX just so that my feet don't burn up so much. Hot or not, I still really like this shoe and recommend it.

Purchased these in black, size 9, which I normally wear in most shoes. I have flat feet, but these have reasonable support. Light weight, breathable, comfortable for all day wear. Great on hikes with terrific grip. I have had two occasions to test the Gore Tex, and it passed with flying colors. Bonus is that these shoes look great from the trail to cafe. Tempted to get them in another color. I continue to be a fan of the Arc'teryx minimalist aesthetic.
