Bought these for my son to go hiking with me. He loves them, especially since he can walk through mud and puddles and his feet stay dry.

My daughter got this and loves them so fair. Only worn a few times, but is looking forward to some hiking trips this summer and trying them out.

My daughter loves the shoes. They are durable, comfortable and stylish. They really can stand up to my active daughter! This is her 5th pair of Merrell footwear with 3 more pairs on the way.

Great hiking shoes. I've worn them for a couple months now, I have no complaints! I wear a women's size 8. I bought kids 6.5 wide. I wanted 6.5 medium, but they were sold out. Wide is 1/4" wider. Seems to fit fine!

My Adventurer is faster and more agile in these, making it less likely he will need a bubble-suit out on the Alaskan trails. Great tread, light and comfortable.

Comfortable shoe for everyday use. Whether walking, running, or hiking the FST is functional and comfortable. Good support and waterproof.

Finally found something that will withstand a very active kid. She loves her pair and uses the as her daily shoe - school, playground, hiking.

These are durable awesome shoes. My daughter's only complaint are the laces. They don't stay tied even when double knot.

Good, durable shoes, but definitely not waterproof. My daughter's socks get wet every time it rains (the water soaks straight through the fabric), which is kind of disappointing for such a quality, name brand shoe that's advertised as being waterproof (especially with it being fall/winter in the Pacific Northwest). They seem comfortable, though, and the grip is nice.

We did not have a time to return/exchange, so must been hiking in the snickers. My experience is a little frustrating about it. If you have a chance to try that in the store - you will have better experience, quality is good.

I have had my Merrell's for a year now and they are the most comfortable shoe. Unfortunately they are not 100% waterproof. I went walking in the wet grass this morning and the inner sole of my shoe is wet. So pleased with how comfortable they are but a little disappointed they got wet!

Bought these for my son and he loves the comfort but these just do not hold up. He's worn a few times a week for 5 months and there are multiple holes in the mesh. I expected better from Merrell but maybe my expectations were too high.

Comfortable and waterproof for walking my dog on all our rainy days. However, they do not have good traction and I find myself slipping and sliding on hills. I thought Merrell would have had better traction than regular sneakers.
