Nice shoe very comfortable right out of box. However the color of sole was not as depicted in pictures, actual is quite a bit darker, but I've grown to like it. Wore camping immediately and very happy with comfort and performance, very light. I recommend.

These are my new favorite shoes. They go well with jeans or khakis, stylish and very comfortable. They do run true to size. They also vent better than I thought they would.

Super comfy shoe. Roomy toe box. Grip is great, and the front connection with the shoe is sturdier than the "peak" style that is susceptible to peeling off the shoe. Got these as a replacement for Merrell Alpine sneakers. They have more durable material. The back section is suede which is a cool accent, but harder to maintain. The sole is very flexible making them comfy, but probably less ideal for longer hikes. I wear a 46/46.5 in European size (which I find most consistent across brands) Columbia told me that was a size 13 in this shoe. I had to send it back - the 12 works great.

Love these shoes. Size is true to fit and they are the most comfortable shoes I own. Right out of the box no break in needed.

As an administrator at a public high school, I am on my feet through out the day. I was looking for a comfortable yet durable shoe that would hold up but still look okay with khakis. The Fairbanks Low shoe was exactly what I was looking for. Now, I need to buy another color perhaps the Nori, Golden Nugget might be perfect.

I usually only get shoes with a wide toe box, but was drawn to this pair because I thought the shoe's silhouette was cool and worth trying out. I was not disappointed. The toe box is roomy and comfortable, there is a good amount of cushion so I can stay on my feet all day, and the upper is plenty breathable

i've been looking for a capable daily shoe that offers the traction of a trail shoe with a look that doesn't say trail runner or trail boot/shoe. I actually considered this show for over a year and thought I had missed my chance when they went out of stock during the winter. Luckily they are back and the Fairbanks fits the bill really well. They are comfortable right out of the box but I did have to go with a 10 instead of a 10.5 (which I have in an old pair of Columbia boots). I really like the fit and how it hugs my feet. I think the laces could be a little shorter by a lace size or two honestly, so they are a little floppy. I would love to see these come with a DWR or other waterproof option but still no regrets as they are meant as my daily shoe and don't plan on taking them out on heavy trails.

Received these yesterday and wore then immediately and I was impressed. Now I am wearing them to work - pretty low impact job - and they are super comfortable. Light, comfy, breathable. I actually just sent my 20 year old son a link to them and offered to send him a pair since I am so impressed with the comfort. I take a 9.5 in Columbia hiking boots so I stuck with that size and the fit is perfect. I am keeping the laces nice and loose and they just hug my feet so well.

This is the best shoe I've ever owned. Comfortable, durable, the tread is great. Good for everyday use, great for hikes, walks and works well for my range competitions. Looks like a vanilla geek shoe but it offers versatility. I'll even wear these while working on the ambulance.

Can't express enough how comfortable these shoes are. I purchased an extra pair just in case they ever sold out.

Very comfortable shoe that I plan for "around town" walking rather than actually using for hiking. The heel feels well padded, but the fore foot not so much. The toe box seems quite large, and I feel like I am wearing clown shoes a little, but the comfort of the shoes overrides that. I do have narrow feet so your mileage may vary on this one. For narrow feet like mine I buy shoes from a competitor that starts with an S for hiking. I like the look and can comfortably see these lasting for a while. Good value for the price I would say!

Great shoe for some light hiking, yard work and everyday kicker. I'm going on my second pair. Very comfortable to wear all day long. 5/5 would definitely recommend.
