Bought these for new pre-school year (bought in August, photo Nov 1). Comfy (he doesn't want to take them off..) but not as durable as last year's Trail Quest. The toe area wore out quickly.

Great construction, durable, water resistant! My 4 year old loves these. Calls them his puddle sneakers (they are not waterproof fyi) but great in damp weather for hiking or just wearing around to play.

My 14 month old asks to put these shoes on, he loves them

I bought wide size for my pre-k child. She plays outside and inside. So far she has liken them.

I got a pair of these for my toddler grandson about 8 mos ago not knowing his father had a pair of Merrell's also. My daughter and her husband want to make sure he is wearing a good fitting shoe. My son in law is very pleased with his Merrell's and has observed that his toddler walks better in this pair than other shoes he has. I bought him another pair, different color to wear, as he has almost outgrown his first pair. This is a very sturdy, nice fitting shoe of very good quality. I like these as much or more as as Stride Rite shoes that I also buy for our 4 toddler grandchildren.

This shoe is super sturdy and versatile! I've bought it for my son in several sizes. It's one of the few shoes that survives to be outgrown

This pair was the 2nd pair of Trail Chaser Jrs for my grandson. They are comfortable, easy to put on and gets him where he wants to be in Colorado.

Picky toddler who jumps in every puddle possible. Shoes remained dry. Put in a good amount of hiking miles over inclines, rocks, even snow! Highly recommend

Had to cut the laces off in order for the shoe to fit. Kid has somewhat chunky ankles, and the rubber laces do not stretch enough to pull the tongue away to slip the shoe on. Size (length) is fine, but the opening just doesn't work. Will probably order a wide pair next to see if that works. Bummer this one had to go to waste.

I bought the navy/green shoe as a birthday present for my nephew & he wears it everyday. In addition to the color, what he likes most is being able to put these shoes on all by himself.

Bought these for my son to hike in after he wore out his old sneakers. They have plenty of grip for dirt trails and he loves them.

These little hikers were perfect for my 4-year-old. We love to hike, and we live in Colorado where the trails are legitimately challenging. Lots of rocks, steep terrain, etc. He used to hike with me in sneakers, but the difference was immediately noticeable with his Merrells. He didn't slip, his feet weren't sweaty afterward, and his confidence was obvious. Highly recommend.

Perfect fit and hold up very well for my 3 1/2 year old. She wears them to Pre-K every day.

These are now my very picky 5 year olds favorite shoes with the wonderful quote she said "idk my feet just feel like home in these" I've loved Merrell for years and will keep buying them for myself and my family.

Really nice made shoe with good gripping sole. Reasonable price and great for any time of walking.

We bought these for summer camping and they quickly became the favorite shoes my grandson wears daily so we just bought these in the next size.

Good hiking shoe with a lot of traction, but kind of tough for my son to put on. We sized up but we often have to help him put these on. Great for hiking and other outdoor play

These are great hiking shoes for my 2 1/2 year old. Other cheap hiking shoes were hurting his feet. So we got him the shoes we have. Now he can walk 4 miles no problem. Well made, comfortable and durable. Perfect.
