I bought this sandal in black/black. I love them. The only negative aspect that I see is that the two “adjustable straps” are not really adjustable. If you un-velcro the strap and the Velcro does not hit the other side anyway but directly on the other Velcro, it comes undone. I gave this shoe 4 stars because, i love the style and the comfort.

Great fitting and size. I am looking for a bit more refined sandal, this looks a little too casual with the metal closure rings and Velcro straps. If I were keeping these I would also want there to be more adjustability on the ankle strap- it was a bit loose.

This sandal felt too loose at the heel even though it was the shoe size I normally wear. The strap on the back cannot be tightened beyond a point because the strap gets thicker beyond where the velcro fastener is and you can pull it through the clasp any more to tighten it further. With it being so loose in the back, I decided to return because I new it would drive me crazy if the back was moving around my foot every time I took a step. I also figured this would lead to blisters with the sides of the sandle rubbing against the back of the heel. The footbed I will say was very soft and comfortable however. Just a shame the strap the back doesn't allow for more tightening because it seemed like a supportive sandle otherwise with a thicker sole than most others.

The footbed is oddly cushioned. You'd think that would be a good thing, but it felt odd to me. The monotone color (I got the Rust color) makes them look cheap.

So disappointed...have a pair of born slides for years. Wanted a more strapped walking shoe. No half size to order. No arch support in these as my old pair had wonderful arch support. The new ones caused my knees to ache without support.

I thought these would be comfortable shoes to take with me traveling--lots of walking, as they felt fine wearing around the house. The first day (and only day) I wore them on my trip, the stitching on the heel portion caused pain on the bottom of both of my feet. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I had to return the shoes because they were too wide and didn’t have ways to make them narrower. The shoes were attractive and had a nice thick sole. I would have liked more arch support but would have kept them if they had fit better. My foot is narrow so this is not a new problem. Oddly some Born sandals fit fine and others don’t.

I bought this sandal in blue and it is a beautiful color. The sandal itself looked nice but was a little matronly for my age. The footbed was very cushioned and comfortable. I ultimately returned it because I could not get the fit correct. I usually wear a 10, so I bought a 10. The front of the foot fit well, but the straps by the back of the foot were way too loose and could not be tightened further. So I bought a 9, and this time the straps fit in the back but then the straps at the front of the foot were too tight, cutting into my foot and the shoe felt too narrow overall. I also prefer a buckle on the strap instead of velcro. You have to line the velcro up just right and it wears out with time as you open and close it. Also with a buckle you can always have a shoe repair shop punch another hole in the strap if needed.

These sandals were meh. I normally wear a size 8, but these were too big. Size down 1/2 size. They were comfortable, but nothing special. Kind of boring looking. I ended up returning them.

The cushion is great and the footbed fit well. However, these could be awesome sandals if the straps were different with an ability to be tighter. I could not tighten these enough to stay on my feet.

These are gorgeous sandals and the leather is amazing comfortable! After many reviews on here saying it’s good for a wide foot, I ordered them in an 11. But if you have a truly wide foot, these aren’t for you. I couldn’t even fit my toes past the straps. These are probably good for typically sized feet, but definitely not for wides. It’s a shame Born and BOC rarely make anything in wide because they always feel so comfortable.
