I love the style and love the comfort, although I grew up having very narrow, high arched skinny feet. I am 39 and I feel like my arch has lowered a bit and has caused my feet to feel a little wider. I was looking for a very comfortable stylish shoe and i found it.

I am so sad to return these sandals. The leather is buttery soft and the insole is so cushiony! I think that they are just too wide for my feet and a little too long so my foot did not look straight in the sandal. It was slightly angled and looked really weird. These are truly beautiful sandals- just not the right ones for me.

The heel strap could not be tightened enough to make theses sandals not slip. Cute shoes but just didn't work for my narrow heel.

Thought--finally--these were the ones (after ordering sandal after sandal). Put them on and said Eureka! But alas, as I wore them around the house, I found myself slipping around in the front. With only one velcro strap, there was simply not enough support. i'll keep trying.

These fit great. They are comfortable enough to put on and go out and walk a long way. I have lots of foot issues and hunt for something stylish that doesn't give me pain on the old broken toe, or be too tight in front. The back of my foot is narrow and the front wide, so it's hard to find a shoe that doesn't slip in the heel that still fits well in the front. Well. With the velcro strap, the back adjusts to fit comfortably. Bonus. They look good enough to wear with a 'dressier' look. Not dress up kind of dressy, but these are not old lady clodhoppers. I'm very pleased with there.

Great walking sandals. The combination of functional cushiony comfort and attractive simplicity of style make this sandal extremely wearable.

These were fine - comfortable, fit well. They're just...ugly. They look like grandma-sandals. I think it's the adjustable strap across the arch, which is good to have but really ages the sandals. I'm in my 40s and these sandals look like something my grandma would wear. Returned.

Love these shoes. Born is one of my all-time favorite brands. They are always comfortable, plenty wide for my challenging feet, and stylish too. I ordered the gold, which is almost a sparkly blackish color. I liked them so much I ordered another pair in blue!

Unfortunately I could not keep these sandals because they are not wide enough. They are sooo comfortable, great cushion. They look stylish and are well made. I wish these came in wide!

Very nice sandals with the substantial leather and quality stitching I expect from Born. The blue color is beautiful; it's not as intense as cobalt, but lighter than a true navy blue. Very pretty, and they go with a lot of pants and skirts. The top strap and heel strap have velcro, so they are somewhat adjustable. I have a narrow, bony foot, so the shoe would have fit better if the velcro fastener had been longer than it is. My left foot is slightly smaller than my right, and initially I was concerned the left would look too long, but after wearing them around the house a few times I decided they were ok and looked fine. They are a bit loose, but they don't slip and my foot isn't sliding around while walking. The footbed is leather and padded beautifully. It's very comfortable and feels stable. Great for a variety of outfits and for city wear as well as walks, as long as terrain is not too rough. As nicely as these sandals are made, I expect them to last many seasons. I took one star off for the width only.

This size 7 shoe did not work for my short-toed, high-arch, high-instep, wide-ball foot. I did not expect that because other Born shoes in 6 1/2 fit me perfectly!

Great looking sandal, well made. But the strap across the top of foot is not made for a high instep. Otherwise, absolutely!

I just got these sandals and have only worn them for a short time in the house, but the footbed is really comfortable, and the leather straps are soft and also comfortable. Cute style. Really happy so far!

I bought these sandals for a trip to Israel. They were perfect to walk over stones and up and down stairs. I love them...I have had other pairs of Born shoes. Customer service note: During the trip one of the leather straps became un-sewn... Sadly, I could not wear them anymore. When I returned home I contacted Zappos customer service and told them what happened. They were so good and so pleasant!! They immediately sent another pair of shoes to me that I received in two days. This kind of Customer Service is very hard to find in today's world. I appreciated their kindness and willingness to correct a wrong. THANK YOU!

I purchased the black for my daughter who was looking for a super comfortable sandal to go with a dress. She doesn't like heels or ballet style flats, so these were perfect and went well with her dress. The sizing runs large. She normally is a 6.5 but took a 6 in these shoes. I liked hers so much I ordered the rust and the natural color. Since hers ran large, I also sized down. I normally fit 7.5-8 but I ordered these in a 7 and they fit well. They are super comfortable and very versatile.

I normally wear a 7.5- 8 in shoes but I opted for a 7 in this shoe and it fit perfectly. (They do not offer half sizes). The footbed is very comfortable and cushy! I initially got these for my daughter in black and loved hers so much that I ordered some for me in both the Rust and the Natural. Both are perfect for summer and go with all my shorts and tees.

These shoes are so soft and the cushioning of the sole is beautiful. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The fit for me was perfect. I buy Born boots and sandals and I order size 10 in boots, size 9 in sandals which works out perfectly for me. I purchased these sandals in blue and they are beautiful. I wanted them to match jeans and they do. I like the fact that two of the straps are adjustable, as I did adjust one of the ankle straps to hold it on tighter on my ankle. I would recommend these to anyone with without too many foot issues.

Love the look and feel of these sandals. They adjust in two different places, making them exceptionally comfortable; the padded footbed and good arch support add to the comfort. Great price as well.

These are beautiful, love the color and the criss-cross straps. Would have been super comfy if the strap had been well designed. The problem is the velcro closure; it' hard to adjust to the right length and each sandal had a different length strap which appeared to be a defect. I have found that velcro closures in general are a pain because they snag on pants and dresses with thinner fabric. Unfortch going back.

These are just what I was looking for; a basic black, casual, flat sandal. The straps are very soft, so I was surprised to find that the one that ran across my little toe caused a small blister the first day I wore them. I think that was probably a result of my gait rather than fault with the shoe, though, and I will be keeping them as I think the strap will stretch out a bit and not cause any further trouble. The foot bed has nice cushioning. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the stitching around the outside of the foot bed, which I can feel and I don't like that. But, I knew that all Born shoes have that, and since the style is what I wanted I will be keeping them.

I wanted to Love these bc I own a pair of Born Artisan sandals in the cutest yellow color but this weirdly cushioned foot bed and velcro strap did not work for me. Born- please make shoes without the weird padding and just good quality leather. I wish I could just clone the shoes I have now :(

This is a lovely sandal and very comfortable, but don't buy it if your feet run even a bit wide. My feet are slightly wide, I mostly wear medium width but occasionally purchase wide shoes. These were tight in the toe area. So pretty, too bad Born doesn't make wide sizes.
