Now that we live on a lake my hubby needed something to protect his hands from the sun - he's an advid fishermen. These are perfect:) He says they are comfortable to wear, more importantly they do not interfer with holding his fishing rod and setting the hook. I'm so glad I bought them for his Christmas gift!

Bought these gloves to wear during skin cancer treatment on my hands. Wore them when out and about (treatment isn't pretty). I chose one size up for loose comfort. So easy to hand wash and air dry. Will also wear these for outdoor activities instead of sunscreen. My fishing friends wouldn't go without them. The palm grips are perfect for holding rods and golf clubs. Would love to see more color choices! Excellent product.

One of my all-time favorite pieces of gear for trail running, hiking, and backpacking. Really tough product that is so light and comfortable you forget you have them on. I used an old pair to put new siding and trim on my two-story house a couple of years ago (a large project), and they're STILL functional! OR got this product right.

These things actually cool my hands as I'm wearing them. I was in disbelief. I do not know the tech that makes them possible but I wear them in 30 degree (Celsius) weather and my hands feel cool. Excellent product.

I'm on my second pair of these and I love them. I put them on anytime I'm spending much time outside in the spring/summer/fall. My hands feel awesome at the end of the day; not like a dried up raisin with sunscreen residue like they used to.

I use these for paddling, mostly with a greenland paddle. They feel great, or rather you barely feel them at all. I was a little concerned about their durability using a paddle, but after many trips they're still like new.

I use them to fit underneath thicker gloves in cold environments when I need to take off my mittens.

I bought a pair of these two years ago and love them. These are great for keeping the backs of your hands from burning in the sun while hiking with/without trekking poles. They don't make your hands hot and sweaty either. I bought the light beige color first and used them for backpacking and they got very dirty. That was ok because when I got home I washed them and they came clean with just a little bit of staining. The second pair is green and hopefully they won't show the dirt as much. We use these for travel as well. When we are walking/touring around the cities on sunny days we don't have to use sunscreen because we wear these and long sleeve UPF shirts.

Solid Glove. At first glance I thought I would never buy a sun glove. Then I got a kayak and started flyfishing fresh and salt water. These gloves are perfect for light protection from the sun. I was frustrated with applying sunscreen every few hours. I decided that covering up would be easier for all day outings. This glove was the last piece i needed.

Wore these every day hiking for 9 days and they were my favourite thing! I have fair skin so I needed the sun protection - but I loved how cool these kept my hands

I developed an allergy to the sun over a sixteen year period of participating in soccer as a referee at the youth level, including high school matches. I enjoy the outdoors but absolutely cannot stand using sunscreen. The gloves, along with other articles of clothing, allow me to fully enjoy the out of doors like I once did.

The ActiveIce Sun Gloves offer maximum protection against the sun for many activities. The fit is true to size, tough, and keep my hands cool in extreme conditions. On a recent hike, my hands were protected from the full sun in temperatures over 100 degrees. Although the gloves were wet, the grip was excellent for my trekking poles. I love these gloves so much, I ordered another pair to keep in the car.

I bought these gloves for sun protection when using trekking poles. They worked better than I expected, providing good sun protection for the back of my hands. They also improved my grip on the trekking poles in very hot weather when sweating a lot. They are comfortable to wear, even on very hot days.

These gloves are awesome! Save my hands from getting burned in the hot desert sun and keep my hands cool. They do get super dirty but that's to be expected. Hand washed them and hung them to dry, worked perfectly.

These are the perfect hiking gloves, they provide great protection from the sun but are incredibly light, you don't even know they are on.

The gloves protect your hands from the sun and fit well so they're comfortable to wear for long periods. Between keeping the sun off of your skin and the extra cooling of the ActiveIce fabric, they keep you a bit cooler. The subtlety of the gray is nice, but the high VI's might help you keep track of them more easily!

Wore a pair of ActiveIce Spectrum Sun Gloves for a climb of Kilimanjaro in February then took them on a 59 day, 880+ mile hike across southern Utah and northern Arizona. The gloves provided solid sun protection and conserved sunscreen. They were comfortable to wear on 90+ degree days and offered just enough insulation on chilly desert mornings. Nice bug protection too. The palms withstood trekking pole wear, thorny brush-bashing, and short stretches of sandstone and limestone climbing. Only drawbacks: The cuff stitching on one glove wasn't as durable as the other (the cuff is coming unraveled) but that didn't impede the function of the gloves. They benefit from handwashing to really get out the grime of extended wear, motel washing machines don't do the trick. Ordering another pair!

I love these gloves for paddling my packraft. They dry fast and look good. Just one star lost because the grip tabs on the thumbs aren't really in the right place. Paddling isn't really their main function and I see that they will wear out pretty quickly.

Good fit and quality, and great for sun protection. Super quick dry time. Difficult to take off quickly because of how tight the finger openings are.

Good gloves, stay on don't bunch up. Seem cooler than regular fingerless gloves. Kinda pricey though.
