I bought the Outdoor Research Sun Gloves to wear for tennis and pickleball. They are high quality gloves. Both the material and grip pad located on the back of the gloves work well for sports. The only reason I sent them back is the fit. The gloves ran short on me near the wrist. For refernce I have slender, long hands. These gloves did not reach the end of my wrist. So the sun protection was not quite enough. For a shorter hand these would be a great choice. The width of the gloves were true to size. I ordered a Small.

These gloves are great for paddling! I use them for the good palm protection from blisters that come on otherwise but I also enjoy their sun protection for the backside of my hands. Never go paddling without them! (Haven't tried it but I think that they would be good for biking as well!)

These are GREAT and do the job. There are some minor details though that irk me. The fingers are a 1/4 inch too long for me not a deal breaker for sure... maybe just nit picking. The Velcro straps might be over kill for this kind of glove as they do interfere somewhat with wearing a watch; you can still wear a watch. Would have been nice to have a few more panels in the palm for a better fit and the pierced holes don't have to be across the whole palm of the hand. As you can see from my rating, this glove, in spite if my nit picks are an excellent value

I've been backpacking in the mountains near Boulder for the last three years without gloves. I finally decided to start wearing them for sun protection. I can't really feel much of a cooling effect from these but they are excellent sun gloves. Light, comfortable and easy to keep up with due to the snap closure that joins them together. So, nothing fancy but they do exactly what they are meant to do.

Fit is good, not too hot, not too cold, just right! Like the glove keeper function, so I don't lose one.

I have only worn these once, and I can't see what's not to love. They are pretty straightforward. I put them on for several hours of fishing in the direct sunlight. I want to start protecting the backs of my hands better from sunburning and aging. I found these did the job, and, while I'm not quite sure about the "cooling" effect, I look forward to using them out more while I'm hiking and my hands are hot and swelling from the heat and activity... to put them to the test. I'm 5'4, 130lbs and my hands are fairly petite. These (size small) were slightly loose-fitting, but not too bad to wear anyway.

I love these - they feel AMAZING if you get them wet! Otherwise they are great for protecting my palms from getting too sweaty all over my trekking pole handles (which would be unpleasant enough except that I have psoriasis so my skin HATES my sweat so I consider these gloves important protective gear,) and I love using them paddling as well as driving too. Once or twice I have used them to protect my hands from blistery old shovel handles; it's NOT what they are for but they still saved my hands. I don't hike without these guys, and these are my second pair; thanks for introducing the pretty teal colour! They match my thruhiker gaiters, which makes my soul happy (sometimes it's the small things in life, you know?)

This is a great alternative to sun screen on multi day hike and backpacking in sunny days and warm conditions. Also works very well with trekking poles

Bought these to help with my hands swelling during activity and heat. They keep my hands cool and protected from the sun. I got the size small which is perfect as it has a little room if my hands do have to swell up. These are much better than holding my hands upward to drain them, looking like a weirdo on the trail.

I use with my walking poles or when paddling a canoe. They protect my hands and wrists from the sun.

Been Kayaking with these gloves a few years. Love the fit and that they stay cool while protecting from the sun. But disappointed to find only two pastel colors when looking to order new ones. I have neon green and I can see them clearly when I drop one, in water or on land. The neon is also great for safety on the water. They do get dirty and stained from the salt water, and even though hand washed, still look dirty. The light colors make the stains look even worse. PLEASE BRING BACK THE BOLD COLORS!

I wear these gloves to protect my hands from sun during 10+ hour long days. They stay comfortable and in place the entire time, and the active ice feature (when they get wet they stay very very cool) is awesome for hot days in the desert.

I like these gloves better than my original OR sun gloves as they seem better built and have a better "grip". My only complaint is the limited choice of colors (one color!). Light gray is too easy to lose if you accidentally drop a glove on the ground; adding red, orange, bright blue, or neon (as with the regular OR sun gloves) would be a good addition to this line.

I use these for outrigger canoeing and stand up paddling. They work great! Fit true to size, not too constricting, and love the "ice" material.

Really nice and light for keeping the sun off of the back of your hands. Decent grip for hiking poles. Open fingers are nice and allow you to easily tie knots, write etc...
