Comfortable right out of the box! Eager to get them out on the trail.

These are WELL made shoes and VERY comfortable. Here in SoCal hiking in a boot is often overkill. These is the perfect "tennie" with a great Vibran hiking sole. Buy it. You won't regret it

Comfortable immediately

I couldn't believe how lightweight these were when I took them out of the box. I ordered my normal size, slipped on my typical sock and wore them all way. My feet felt great and I was on them for hours while I helped out a friend. They looked super cute with black leggings. Can't wait to try them on a "real" hike.

I thought they were very nice looking shoes, however, I need to have shoes comfortable right out of the box

I love these shoes. I note that I haven't yet used them on a trail, but they are very sturdy and fit well and the fun bright color makes them look a bit more styish than typical hiking shoes.

Danner is solid quality. I still occasionally use their higher hiking boots I got in the 1970’s!! I was looking for a lighter shoe with more cushion and these seem good and retain the same quality. Unfortunately my shoe size nine was very tight. I needed a 9.5 but that size was not available.

wanted to love these shoes. The fit was perfect but for the cost they rubbed along the side of my inside ankle bone only on one shoe. Even after wearing them in the house (with paint booties) over them, the discomfort persisted. Dang

I hot an 8.5 which is my standard for hiking or trail shoes but wish I’d gotten size 8. They’re wonderful otherwise. Slim on your foot and supportive without being bulky and heavy.

Felt comfy, but ultimately a bit too comfy in that the sole is a bit too flexible for my already flexible feet.

Great shoe. Have a narrow foot and was a great fit. the support was not what I was looki8ng for. Stylish.

I was impressed at how well these shoes are made. Unfortunately, they were a little shorter than my other size 7.5 sneakers and boots and therefore will not work walking down hills. I will try a size 8 and hope they aren't too wide.

I wanted to like these but found the shoe to run narrow. Even sizing up didn’t work.

Great looking shoe but were too tight in the toe box in spite of wide width. I have custom orthotics so need a wide toe box. I have several Danner boots, but these didn’t work for me.

I wanted these shoes to work, but they are narrow overall and I wanted more room in the toe box. Nice looking.

This shoes feel great. I was disappointed in the construction. Quality control needs to reject shoes when the machine punches the holes for laces crooked. I had to order two pair to get a pair that was correct. Aggravating for shoes that cost 150.00 dollars. And a waste of my time messing with ordering and returning.

These are super cute but they just didn't fit on my problematic feet. The arch sat in the wrong place and I couldn't get comfortable in them so I returned.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but the top part of the toe bed would bend into the top of my foot every time I took a step. It was really comfortable otherwise as far as fit, arch support and cushioning.

I currently have a pair of Oboz hiking shoes, which fit perfectly, but are heavy. I wear Danner boots for work so I figured I would give their hiking shoes a try. They are lightweight, which is great, and do have good traction on the bottoms. However, the back of the shoe is short and my heel slips big time. Might not be a big deal while doing errands, but not willing to risk it with long hikes. Also, the inside liner of the shoe is unusually narrow in the heel, and sticks up just enough around the edges that it puts pressure on my feet. I would've loved to try these with a different insert, but the foot bed is not removable. Sent back to Zappos.

As others have mentioned, these would have been perfect if they weren't so narrow. I don't have that wide of a food (I usually buy "Medium") but this seemed especially narrow. *sad face* Otherwise, if you have a narrow foot, they seemed awesome. Good grip, great support, good looking and light.

I have bunions on both feet. There wasn’t enough room in toe box to accommodate them so I returned. Nice shoe otherwise.

I needed some trail hiking shoes with good grip. These Danner Trail shoes got great reviews so I decided to give them a try. I ordered two pairs one salmon red, one blue. They look good but they cut into my ankles. In addition, the right shoe slips off my foot - after trying them with different socks, tie the lace differently...etc. Too bad they don't fit my feet hence must return
