Extremely comfortable and supportive. No breaking in necessary. I purchased a second pair in another color I like them so much.

FIt seems to be quite narrow which works for me as I have narrow feet. Wanted to try a lighter hiking shoe and this should fit the bill. Seem well made.

I have really sensitive feet and walk an hour a day. I wore these with ease on my first walk with no issues. They are nice and light, provide great arch support and are overall comfortable. My feet are a little wide and these are snug, but fit like they should.

I have been an ON fan for a few years, mostly because I don't like feeling separated from my environment by inches of rubber. Troubles with ON led me to look for another "toughie" shoe that can take me from walking long road miles to the trail. I need a space for my toes and a breathable shoe. Danner has been good to me so far. Comfort has 4 stars instead of 5 only because I prefer the lightweight comforts afforded me by ON, but I may get used to it, especially since it is not rubbing my foot wrong and is fairly light and breathable. Actually fits and feels like an excellent shoe, have to say, so Overall is 5.

Good for narrow feet. A little hard to get on but once you do very comfortable. Narrow heel with a wider forefoot. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a high arch. Very well made.

New company for me. Great fitting, comfortable shoe for my narrow feet. A little hard to put on the first few days but totally comfortable all day long.

The shoes fit great, love them and will order another pair but I to be fair - I have narrow feet and they fit me perfect.

I marked "comfort" only 3 stars because the toe box was too narrow for me. I love everything else about the shoe. The shoes look and feel more expensive than they are.

These shoes required no breaking in. Since I have an ugly bunion on one foot, it was necessary to find a shoe that allowed the extra room for comfort. These have been my go-to hiking shoes ever since they arrived. I walk a minimum of 5 miles per day on pavement, but also used them for a brutal 8-mile hike, (4 miles continuously up snowy, rocky, muddy hills) and I didn't slip once. The teal color is beautiful and feminine. Really happy with my purchase.

I love these hiking shoes. They are super comfortable. They run true to size and I didn't feel like I needed to "break" them in. I would def recommend.

I usually wear a 9 but ordered a 8.5 and it fit perfect. Love the shoe. Lots of tred on the bottom. Can't wait to get out there and do some serious hiking with them!

I bought these for our daily winter walks. Out of the box they were comfortable. I DID go up 1/2 size and I can comfortably wear thicker socks. Walked 3 miles today and my feet never hurt. Super comfortable!!!!! Love the color. Great purchase.

Love these shoes! They fit right out of the box and we’re still comfortable after a few hours of wear. I felt a bit of a bounce in my step as I walked. Very happy with this purchase. Oh yeah, and look great.

Glad I tried these... ordered 8.5 based on Zappo Recommended and usually my athletic size... they’re very nice quality .. support and stability .... look... not too wide which is usually an issue for me. (Thin flat feet) they have a bit of room in toe box in length so ordering 8 while in stock... My other trail shoe Under Armour Horizons are discontinued so these are next up! And bonus features Vibram etc...,

These are super comfortable and very well made. I have a very narrow foot and they fit perfectly with a little thicker sock. Will buy again, I just purchased 3 pair because these are truly my favorites. Highly recommend.

These shoes fit like a glove. Perfect width and I have Morten’s Neuroma so my podiatrist recommended a trail shoe. These are truly perfect. I highly recommend!

This is my 5th purchase of these shoes since I bought my first pair some years ago. From the first moment they are worn they feel like old friends.

Completely destroyed a pair of HOKAs on a trail and took a chance on these. Fit as described (I used the size comparison tool). Very comfortable. Excellent traction. And... I LOVE the color. Super happy.

Comfortable fit and snug in all the right places. This shoe is for a narrower foot but has good length and a nice cushioned feeling under the foot. I have tried a range of hiking shoes and this is finally one that will work-perfect!

My other hikers are quite heavy and ankle height, designed for longer hikes where I need a lot more foot support. I was searching for a pair of hikers to wear on shorter, less technical hikes - something that gives me support but perhaps allows me to be more nimble. I wore these for the first time on a 7 mile hike, solid terrain, a few rockier bits but generally pretty even trail. They were great! Feet were comfy and shoes performed well! I’m a 7 to 7.5 depending on style, I am narrower at ankles, overall fit well with a pair of wool socks. Happy with this purchase!

So comfy! I bought these as a replacement for a pair of Merrell hiking shoes. The footbed has much more cushion than the Merrell. I've worn them hiking twice and love them! The grip is great and I love how they look for a day hiking shoe. Beware, they run narrow (as stated in other reviews), but my feet are narrow so I wasn't worried. This is the first time I recall wearing a pair of shoes where I don't have to cinch up the laces in order to get a snug fit. I will buy Danner shoes again!

I am very picky about shoes, especially sneakers! I have a "narrow heel", but I guess normal rest of my foot - so I have a really hard time finding shoes where my heel doesn't slip. These, with a runner's tie, hold my foot in place. I live in the mountains, so needed a shoe that was durable with good traction - and tried on quite a few - these are great!!
