These shoes get the job done! With their Comfortech cushioning I can wear these shoes all day. They are slip-on but not stiff, so I can easily slide in and out whenever I want. So you might ask, "Why aren't you giving them 5-stars?" Well, there are only two things that I wish were a little different: 1) This may sound petty, but the styling when I wear them reminds me a lot of a moccasin. From the side the shoes look normal (albeit a little goofy due to not having a distinct heel), but when I wear them and look down I have to remind myself that I'm wearing shoes instead of moccasins. This wasn't the look I was expecting. 2) They are not tight by any means, but they fit closely near the toe box. This doesn't cause any discomfort, but I have a sneaking suspicion they will wear out first in this spot. I don't imagine this will be a problem if you have narrower feet, though. So, overall, these are great shoes. Look at the pictures and if you like the design, you won't be disappointed in how they feel. After all, they are Florsheim and they've been making shoes since the 19th century. They do it right.

These are great shoes. They fit very comfortably and seems they were made exclusively for my feet. Sturdy but flexible and sometimes feel as If I'm not wearing them. My only four stars rating is not because of the shoes but because when I made the order, I understood shipping was free but I was charged anyways because the carrier charges (or that what I was told). Other than that, these are one the best shoes I've worn.

My husband really likes your shoes but you seem to get fewer styles in wide widths. The most recent pair fit as expected and were promptly shipper

Love the shoe, ware the shoe playing table tennis and more. The delivery was bad, Tracked the delivery to the UPS distribution center about 5 miles from the destination and it took 3 days to get delivered from there.

I requested a 3 X wide shoe. You sent me what I requested, however the size I received is still a bit tight on the right foot. Your sizes must run a little small. This has happened on all the shoes that I have purchased from Florsheim. I do possess foot stretchers.

I've had them for almost a month and have worn them daily. They are comfortable walking in but not standing for some reason. I am concerned that sole will wear out as it is made from an extremely light weight foam material and not leather. I have noticed a bit of wear already. Time will tell.

The shoes were very nice but the shoes are smaller than I expected. I usually buy an 11.5 shoes. I ordered a 12 size shoe. Upon receiving, my toes touched the shoe internal tip. I stretched the shoes for a few days. I still could feel the shoes touching my toes. So, I returned the shoe. Thank you for the refund.I haven't received the money yet in my bank account.

I love the ComfortTech feature, and the style of the Great Lakes in Cognac was cool, but the shoe didn't fit me well. I have been wearing an 11 1/2 D width for decades. When I received the shoe I could barely get on on, suggesting it was likely a full size too small. Florsheim customer service suggested returning for a larger size and I opted to return and get another style, a lace up, where I've had less size variability.

I purchased two pairs of Great Lakes Moc Toe Slip Ons. Although I liked the colors and the shoes are very stylish, I had to return them because I could not get my feet into them comfortably. These shoes have side gores only, and apparently I need shoes with a center gore for me to be able to get them on.

I have been wearing Lakeside slip-on boat shoes for years, so I purchased these on sale, thinking they would be the same quality. The leather is thinner and not as supple, there is a minimum of padding around the ankle, the footbed is narrow and a commercial grade insole is just slipped in loosely, coming out when you take them off. The soles feel inexpensively made. What happened, Florsheim? I just have them sitting in their box, having only tried them on and worn for a few minutes. I wish I had purchased the Lakeside shoes again.

Bought this on clarence and I'm pretty happy. It's a good looking shoe and fits as expected. It gets a little uncomfortable as the day drags on.

I ORDERED TWO PAIRS OF SHOES AND NORMALLY TAKE WEAR A NORMAL WIDTH AND THE ONES I RECEIVED WERE TO NARROW. IT COST ME $18.00 TO RETURN THEM SO I COULD GET AN EXTRA WIDE. I WILL NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM FLORSHEIM AGAIN.

I bought these for my husband to attend a high-end jazz concert. He insisted on slip-ons that wouldn't clack on the marble floors. They were attractive enough but just didn't provide the comfort and support he is used to.

I tried them on as soon as the pair arrived. Am wearing them as I type, standing up. A bit _narrow_ for EEE. So the shoes feel snug. I did not expect leisure shoes would require a need to get "broken in." I do not expect this from a _Florsheim_! Especially a _walking_ shoe. The brown color is a bit darker than appears on screen. I prefer lighter tan shoes but it's not a deal-breaker. So, I'll let this detail pass. Honestly, I tend to be apprehensive about purchasing shoes online as different styles arrive with differing widths and fits--loafers especially, as manufacturers make few allowances for high arch/high instep feet. I expected a more cushiony insole. The ball area feels a bit too solid. This cushion ranks below average. After half hour of standing on my feet the shoe feels tighter than when I first put it on! Three stars at best... I will return this pair... I am very disappointed this time around. In the past I have mail-ordered the pricier Florsheim wing-tip "Kenmoors," identical size and width and they fit to a "T," with no need to break them in at all! What went wrong this time? I have no idea.

I have worn florsheim for 40 yrs I buy an average of 4 ors a year for work my only single complaint recently is I can never get 3E wide and since the shoes are now made in China I've noticed they run very very narrow compared to the ones I always bought at the actual retail stores which I miss greatly Please start making them in 3e again

In wear a 9-1-2 N mens shoe. The correct shoe was delivered. It was unfortunately too short and I did not like the stiffness of the leather. I seemed cheaper than a previous similar Florsheim shoe that I bought (that is actually 9N size).

Too tight in the instep. Would've purchased if it came in a Men's 12 1/2 Medium. No half sizes above size 12. Nice styling though. Have other Florsheim styles and they fit okay.
