They fit well and are comfortable.

These shoes are great. I am on my feet constantly at work and my feet and body feel so much better than the previous two pair of different shoes I had to return due to the pain they caused. These shoes are so good. They have great support. They are steel-toed and yet very light! I really am glad I chose these shoes. Thanks Zappos.com for great support till I got the right pair!

Feels like a regular tennis shoe

They are very comfortable and my husband wants another pair.

Bought these shoes for my husband. He's a mechanic and is on his feet working for about 12 hours a day. He's been wearing them for a week now and he loves them. Says they are very comfortable and supportive.

They fit like a glove. They were a gift for my husband. They are really comfortable. The 4E wide really makes a difference.

I Ordered the shoes on friday And they came Monday at 10:00 am...I put them on and headed Straight to work...I work in a busy Kitchen so water and food on The floor is a danger...The shoes Held up nicely..I have wide feet With bunions and the shoes Fit great...I Highly recommend Them.

Not safe tread on the bottom. Looks and felt good but very slippery

Never even knew New Balance made industrial shoes… with being that style they are great! A little heavy but there’s no way around that and not quite as comfortable as a tennis shoe but I don’t think any industrial shoes will be. To add the customer service was great! Got the wrong size initially, called and another pair was sent and arrived the next day. I hadn’t even sent the other pair back yet! Overall all great experience with Zappos

Good fit, great for wide feet

Nice & soft. Much more comfortable than the 589 that have been wearing.

Size and width are excellent, but there's very little cushion in the sole.

I need at least a half size larger than I usually wear, but quality, color, style were all good.

I have wide feet and because I've learned my toes get beat up on the safety toe. I get 2 sizes bigger. My width is 4E. The shoe size felt true, the width seems just slightly narrower than should be - which hasn't posed any issues. Because I get larger shoe size putting in a shoe insert works out well - which are going in this week. They are comfortable so far (without inserts). If the comfort lasts past 3 months - I'll be happy.

i must use orthotics. Until this pair, i didn’t realize my left orthotic fit much different than the “rite one”. Tge shoe not “tall nuff”(?) to hold my left orthotic. Otherwise i like the shoe.

The fit was in line with other New Balance sneaks, true to size. The shoes lasted 4 years in an oily machine shop but finally started to crack and separate at the toe box crease. I had to replace the removable inner soles once or twice. Shoes are light and well built but could use some extra ventilation.

These shoes are amazing. They are very comfortable right out of the box. Just worked a 10hr shift on concrete and my feel feel great. Very true to size and the width on the 4E gives my toes so much room. It feels like I was on my feet for only an hour. We’ll have to see how durable they are but just ordered another pair!

needs more cushion on the soles

These shoes fit true to size but if I add arch support the back of the heel isn't tall enough to hold in my heel.

When I ran track and field in school my shoe size choice was mens. I am a female who requires wider shoes for comfort. The previous pair of this shoe was also men's yet the size conversion was not comfortable, especially with thicker socks worn for extra cushion. This time I went a half size larger and one size wider to get the comfort level I was looking for. Initially, the toe safety edge above my toes digs in and is uncomfortable in places. However, it does decrease over wear. Being on concrete and moving vigorously for more than 10 hours a night, requires extra arch support. With this larger size, the arch support can be added to the original sole and I get through the night. With the previous pair, the original sole had to be removed to put in the arch support, otherwise the fit was way too tight and uncomfortable. However, in removing the sole, I lost the additional comfort necessary for the long shift. This larger and wider size is comfortable with thicker socks, the additional arch support, and I can work all night in comfort.
