The shoes are fine. I didn't read when ordering that they are safety toes. Oh well probably good they are

I have gotten these shoes twice, they don’t ventilate well, but it’s good for cold weather and rain. The upper gets torn up easily if caught on objects, and the wife is good regular wide feet, may need an extra insole tho. Some of the most decent shoes you can find on her for work

The shoe digs into my ankle, and feels a bit too clunky.

The only negative I can say about these shoes are how they make my feet feel very cold even with 2 pairs of socks on

I use these shoes to comply with the PPE standards agreed on between the company and the hourly employees in order to keep my job. I have a shoe size 15 3E but, it's next to impossible to find that size in a comfortable safety shoe unless I want to wear Propet or some other unknown company's product. These shoes are ok but, the heel is much wider than I need it to be which results in me over tightening my laces to cinch up some of the slack. Please make a 3E width!

I was expecting a nice cushioned feel. Instead it feels like I'm walking on wood planks. I guess they are oh but not what inexpected.

The sole has divots in it I guess to help the you area bend. Sounds like a good idea, but it will delaminate at the divots and it's downhill from there.

The problem with they’re is that it is beginning to fall apart. Especially on top of the toe section where the stitching is

Good work shoes, comfortable and light for a shoe with toe protection on it. The only issue I have with it is that the insoles slide and run up the back of the shoe, so I had to put double sided tape under the insoles to keep them from sliding. Not great but it's working so far.

Shoe itself seems to be fine. Aftermarket inserts are very necessary due to the fact that the original ones are very thin.

These shoes fit perfect, but only one problem i have is that there's a flaw in manufacturing in the right one. There's a place that touches/rubs top of my right foot left side. I have bought a lot shoes over the years, many of which were New Balance, and I have experienced this a few times oly after wearing them a few hours. They are obviously used and more than likely they wont take them back back so it looks like I am sstuck with them. Other than that, the fit is perfect. I still love New Balance shoes, just not these.

Comfortable more so than other work shoes but still could use some improvement. Not bad for the price.

I wear them everyday while working. I am on my feet 10 or more hours a day working and when i first got them they worked great but about the 2nd week the inside souls are coming off and slips inside shoe and it really is u comfortable. I tried to fix it and it doesnt work. For this reason it is not worth the money to me because after just having them for 2 weeks they came apart.

The alloy toe is great, my only complaint is the stitching around the toe protect area is already deteriorating and I haven't even worn them a month. Very comfy once they break in, lightweight and protect your toes! Beats a heavy steel toe boot in terms of comfort, durability will continue to be determined. Would definitely consider another pair of NB alloy toes again.

I'm a mailman and Walk and or stand all day. I've had these for a about 2 weeks and my legs are tired at the end of the day and feet hurt as well. Unfortunately we have to have black shoes for work. I figured I'd try something new but if I could I would've taken something else. They are super high quality which is nice and I'm sure they will last but definitely not ones I'd purchase again

Well made and provides the support I need for standing on concrete 10 hours per day. However I don't like how my heel slips up part way out of the shoe when I walk. Tightening the laces doesn't help. I recommend them for those who stand a lot but not for those who walk a lot.

Been durable with good traction and hard toe that didn't hurt my feet . Terrible cushioning and arch support-hard and flat insoles

I ordered these shoes because I was provided a stipend by my employer to put toward the purchase of safety shoes. I work in a warehouse for a globally recognized ecommerce company and while it is not a requirement to wear safety shoes while on the job, it is highly encouraged. Anyway, I went with New Balance because they are a recognized producer of athletic shoes, comfortable shoes so I figured why not try their line of safety shoes. On their overall appearance, they look great. Everything else though, they're not comfortable and the insole for this shoe is just awful and offers no support at all. I read other reviews of this show and agree with the majority when they say this shoe lacks arch support, so buy some after market shoe inserts before prolonged use. I did that and my aftermarket inserts worked much better. However overall, the shoes aren't that comfortable but I do appreciate the non-slip and the added protection over my toes. I did break them in first before wearing to work -- I walked around my home with them on for a couple of hours before putting them through their first 10-hour shift. I never wore safety shoes before and when I got home, I could wait to take them off. I've since worn them a few more times and they feel more broken in now, though I feel if I could get more arch support it would improve the overall comfort. A few co-workers did like how the New Balance safety shoes looked and I shared what I liked and didn't like about them. Overall, since they cost me nothing out of pocket, I really shouldn't complain. I feel my feet are better protected in the warehouse with these on and now that they feel broken in, they feel OK to wear during a standard 10-hour shift, though I may research other insoles to try.
