I wanted a protective, wide, non slip, sneaker style shoe with a minimal heel/toe differential for work. This checked those boxes. I purchased the grey in extra wide & I'm pleased with the width & look. The length seems short even tho I went a half size up. The downside is the lack of support/cushioning and heaviness of the shoe. I put in my own insoles & it feels better. I assume the weight of the shoe is due to its protective features. I got water sprayed on me at work & my feet stayed dry & firm on the ground. My toes are now protected against the many stub opportunities at my job. Overall, pleased with my purchase but ideally would want more cushioning/support.

Comfortable right out of the box. I wore them for 14 hours and was on my feet almost the entire time. HIghly recommend.

I have a pair of these already in the gray/blue ones. I liked them so much I had to get this color also. Hope they come out with different colors later!

I love this steel toe shoe! Very comfy(after changing out the insole),very light. All my co workers couldn’t believe it’s a steel toe. They look stylish & still have that safety. I’ve tried a few steel toe sneakers & by far these are the best yet. I plan on getting the black/grey ones next.

Once I put my own insoles in the shoes felt even better. They are comfortable yet still look stylish. Many of my coworkers didn’t believe they’re steel toe. Great shoe!

Went through 2 pairs in less than three months. Not industrial enough. Seems at toe split quickly.

Perfect Size! Comfortable for work at Amazon! Hint: if you order these shoes. It is true to your size! If you have wide feet get the wide. Delivery was on time

Fit is great. I bought wides to make sure I had room in the alloy toe. After a few days they started making my heels very sore. I removed the thin foam insoles and they were completely flattened out. I replaced them with some thick foam insoles from another pair of my shoes and now I have no complaints. They are very comfortable now. Seem very sturdy. And are light enough you forget they are a safety toe. Look just like a sneaker.

I’m a delivery driver for an Amazon DSP. And I love these shoes. They are wide and true to fit. They are comfortable and offer toe protection without looking like a protected shoe. They are very comfy and I can work all day and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. They’re also very grippy and are slip resistant. These shoes are perfect for delivery.

After two weeks of wearing still fell comparable

At first was skeptical over a couple reviews on here but than just went with it and ended up being the perfect shoe very light weight and very comfortable would recommend to any warehouse employee

Very true to size. I had a hard time before buying shoes online anywhere because I could never get my size match. These shoes are comfortable, great looking, and very light in weight. You forgot they are work shoes very quickly, but you get reminded when a box drops on your toe because you feel nothing!

I love these shoes! They fit perfectly and are true to size. They look nice. They’re comfortable. Well, comfortable once I added my arch supports. And they have non-slip soles and an alloy toe. This isn’t just my new work shoe, it’s my new every day shoe.

These shoes were my 3rd attempt at finding a shoe with great support. These are the ones. They are light even though they are steel-toed. Really comfortable. Great support.

Perfect for a warehouse work and on your feet for 10-12 hours. I work for (the company with the name of the rain forest in South America). After trying and working in New Balance walking shoes, which is good, nothing beats these New Balance work shoe - MID412v1. They feel very comfy right-out-of-the- box along with a pair of thick fine gauge wool socks. The steel toes are AMAZING with zero pain (for me), no redness, soreness or damaged toenails after walking and driving a cherry-picker for 10 hours, which has happened once with a different pair of steel cap work shoe. I could easily work 12 hours in these shoe, but that remains to be seen. I've tried a few work shoe with steel caps and after 4-5 hours of work, they become unbearable, NOT these. I was also happy to see how affordable these shoe are..... frankly, I was willing to pay up to $200.00 for a comfortable work shoe. Driving a PIT for 10 hours is NOT easy on your feet, but these shoe help a lot and much better than a running or walking shoe. I am planning on buying another pair as New Balance loves to "update" their shoe style every season and I fear the next update to this shoe might be - just bad.

Great for work, fit well and are comfortable to stand/walk in for 8-10 hours at a time.

Good fit, very good quality, wearing safety toe shoes for almost 20 years have try many different brands, first new balance initial impression are positive, they are as comfortable a safety shoes is going to get, I'll try to write how they are holding up in a few months

Size is good, and they look as good as a safety-toe shoe can. For comfort, you WILL need to replace the insoles! They are paper-thin and do not provide nearly enough cushioning and no arch support. I replaced them with some ergo-insoles and the difference is well worth the slight extra cost. Put in new insoles, and I can recommend the shoes. Otherwise, you will be disappointed with the comfort.

Arch could be better. Light weight for a safety shoe. I wear them in an industrial kitchen and they have decent slip resistance. Would like them in all black if possible. The gray sole looks dirty after awhile
