This jacket kept me dry through a rainy and active cruise through Alaska's Inside Passage. I wore it over layers as I hiked and biked in rainy conditions. It was a grest weight and had the added benefit of folding up into a really small size for packing. I also like the color, which, I believe, was called Storm. It was perfect!

Lightweight and durable. This jacket is a staple in my gear kit. Keeps you 100% dry even after hours in the elements. I like the pit zips when the temps rise and appreciate the extended hood that comes over almost like a hat brim to keep rain/snow/sleet out of my eyes.

Stay dry in heavy downpours! Great jacket for bad weather, nice that the hood can be rolled and stored. Bought for rest of family, too!

I'm a seasonal commercial fisherman, standing in rivers sometimes up to my waist, often in rainy and snowy weather. I picked up this jacket to help keep me dry, and I was surprised by how well it worked. I wear it year-round now for all my outdoor adventures!

For the cost, best hard shell recomendis by this outfitter. AND it packs away in the pocket?! 13/10 Recommend

This is a comfortable, lightweight jacket. It is super comfortable and easy to pack. The color is lovely and I always get compliments!

Holds up great in rain. Used a lot during work in a conservation corps and eventually did get a tear but that was from crawling through Mesquite, so it is very understandable.

This jacket is perfect, super versatile fits great. Keeps you dry when an unexpected storm hits you during your day on the trail or when you are stuck standing in the rain during your kid's soccer game.

Love my precip,from Alaska storms to the Arizona monsoons it keeps me dry inside and out!

This purchase replaced a previously enjoyed and valued Marmot rain jacket. It's a good replacement and is expected to be enjoyed as much as the previous jacket.

I am very happy with this jacket. It's in my backpack on all the tours where rain is forecast and it has done its job. In some pictures you will see snow because in some mountains I have been on snow is present until June :). I recommend this product with confidence.

I love my Marmot Rain Jacket. I have it with me at all time, and won't travel without it. Light weight enough for summer nights but can layer under for rainy cool times.

I have used it to stay dry on rainy walks with my dog; it is comfortable and has kept me dry.

Great jacket for all types of weather. Plenty of room for sweaters underneath too. Hood fits comfortably and it has a very sturdy zipper too!

This is my second Marmot rain jacket. Fourth for the family. Why is this only my second? Because I still use my first one. That I bought in 2005!

Oh, I love my Precipitation jacket! I wear it constantly, not just on rainy days, but sunny and windy days. I purchased white and even when it's been exposed to dirt it wipes right off and looks great. This is by far the best rain jacket I've ever bought- and the underarms have a zipper to cool you down on warmer days, which is great. It's just a perfect fit and it looks sharp.

A few friends of mine and I decided to go hike Hadrian's Wall in northern England. Naturally, a few days had some good downpours as we were hiking. Once I put on my jacket and unzipped the armpit vents, I stayed dry throughout the entire rain storm. I was very impressed!

I love the Marmot precip jacket. The high color detail & flexibility of the hood make it my goto jacket when it gets wet outside. The jacket can be well secured to keep moisture out & the venting design allows body heat to eacape so you don't overheat when moving around. Great pocket space for storage & love the contrasting blue design. Was up in Marin near Muir Woods on one of my favorite walking bridges. The jacket was awesome.

This jacket has served me well for more years than I can remember. Light, functional, and priced light years less than super high-tech offerings. Into the pack and forget it until needed.

For the price, how can you beat it? It has never wet out on me. It has large pit zips which are lacking in more expensive jackets. Comes in many colors.

This jacket is a great lightweight, packable, fashionable rain jacket. Perfect for travel or just local hiking and wear around town on those wet days.

Purchased this jacket for use on a commute to work, but have found it far more useful than I anticipated. Lightweight, packs up small, and really fends off the rain. The only issue I have with the jacket, as a larger guy, is that it runs a bit small. However, I've found that to be generally true of Marmot products generally - they're not friendly to us large football types!
